An absolute must tour in Mexico City
A group of friends came to Mexico City and booked this tour as a party of seven. We all walked away with great historical and architecture information but most of all with our tummy very full of delicious food. You taste everything across-the-board from desserts to meats to cheeses and even bugs! Just book it! Our tour guide Josette was wonderful!

Tamara is the best!
Our tour guide was Tamara… she is the best!! She’s knowledgeable and knows the town and local very well!! The food tours turned into history/food tour because she’s so highly educated Mexican culture! She is able to explain the food and their ingredients. I would highly recommend you ask for her for this tour. She also speaks like 8 languages! very personable!

Fun food & history tour!
Excellent gastro tour that combines a good variety of tasting samples with historic information about Mexico City. Jimena was fun, knowledgeable and made this a super experience! Felt fine the day after as they take care about food safety in foods selected for sampling. Vegetarian options too!

Delights of Coyoacán: A Boho Feast of Flavors
This was my first time visiting Coyoacán. Kiomi was an excellent host, sharing her culinary knowledge as well as the history of the area. If there is one thing I can't emphasize enough, it's to skip breakfast and come to this tour starving. You will not leave hungry; it is such a great value for the price. All of the food and beverages we sampled were delicious, and I was provided with a pamphlet with all of the names and addresses of each stop (plus some additional recommendations) so I can find them again the next time I am in CDMX. This trip is perfect for both foodies and just open-minded hungry people.

My five-hour food tour through Mexico City's historic district was an absolute highlight of my trip, and our guide, Kiomi, made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment we met, her warm and welcoming personality put the entire group at ease, creating a friendly and fun atmosphere. The tour itself was a masterclass in Mexican cuisine and culture. Over the course of five hours, we were taken to a variety of incredible spots that we never would have discovered on our own. It was a perfect mix of street food stalls, bustling local markets (like the famous San Juan Market), classic cantinas, and traditional restaurants. Kiomi's expertise went far beyond just pointing out the best things to eat. She wove together the stories of each dish with the rich history and traditions of the city itself. As we savored everything from delicious carnitas and pre-Hispanic delicacies to refreshing aguas frescas and artisanal candies, Kiomi provided fascinating context, sharing insights about the origins of the food and the local legends tied to the historic buildings around us. It was a true cultural immersion, not just a food tasting.

My wife and I had a wonderful time during our Taco and Mezcal tour this evening! We went to 6 places in total (5 taco + 1 Mezcal). Food was great with a mix of traditional Mexican style tacos (i.e. Al Pastor), fusion with Korean Kalbi and even a Michelin star location. Our tour guide, Maya, was a fantastic host! Very friendly, professional and fun. We would highly recommend this tour to others!

She was incredibly knowledgeable and answered every single one of our questions with so much passion for Mexican history and gastronomy. You can tell she truly loves sharing her culture. Josie went above and beyond for us, helping take a million photos, making sure we were comfortable the entire time, and caring for us like friends rather than just guests. The food was amazing, but her energy and warmth made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The best way to start our Mexico trip
Tamara gave us such an excellent first day in Mexico. The tour was recommended by a friend who said it was her favourite experience of her trip in 2024 and I have to say I understand why! The access you get to so many places who would be unlikely to find on your own was astonishing and of course absolutely delicious! Tamara really knows her stuff about the city, the culture and clearly has such warm relations ships with all of the vendors we met - who were all so friendly and knowledgeable too. Getting to experience the food market this way in particular was outstanding. I just cannot recommend highly enough! A food tour on the first day of the trip will be a no brisker on holidays for us from now on! Thank you so much Tamara.
