My wife and I took this tour — our first tour for our first visit to Mexico City. This tour was a perfect way to start our visit to such a beautiful country. Our guide, Angel, was very professional and accommodating. He was very thorough with details on both food and Mexico’s history (we got to visit some key places in the city center), which allowed us to put everything in proper context. And the food? Wonderful tour guide and amazing neighbourhood

Josie was my guide for the coyoacan food tour from Sabores Mexico and she was amazing! I was the only one in this tour and felt completely relaxed and enjoyed Josie’s company. She explained all the different foods we tried really well and I truly learnt a lot about Mexican food and culture. I also loved the neighborhood of Coyoacan, such a contrast to the historical center. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Mexico City and you leave feeling totally satisfied and stuffed. Excellent tour!

Fantastic tour! Jossie was a great tour guide and looked out for our dietary needs. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and kept us all together. We appreciated the history details and her visual cards helped us better understand the culture and dishes. The food was flavorful and varied and gave us a taste of Mexico City that we couldn’t have found on our own. Come hungry! We were stuffed by the end. We took this tour our first day in the city and it gives us confidence to try the restaurants for the remainder of our visit.

Fun tour!

We had a fantastic tour with Josie this past week. Had a great group of people. It ended up being Revolution Day so it was very crowded out so I'm glad we had her to navigate us around. Loved checking out San Juan market in particular.

Amazing cultural and culinary experience

This was an incredible opportunity to learn about a broad range of Mexican cuisine and the history of Mexico City and its architecture. Angel was a fantastic guide and story teller. It was a pretty long tour of 5 hours with a lot of walking and an insane amount of food. We would not recommend a big breakfast or dinner if you plan to do this! From mole to tapas to insects to ceviche to tacos, every experience was delicious and enlightening and made us begin to appreciate the breadth of Mexican cuisine. Would highly recommend this to anybody.

A must do for foodies!

A must do if you’re a foodie! I absolutely loved this tour. The food was fantastic and Johana was incredibly knowledgeable (patient with all my questions!) and just a lovely human to spend a few hours with. As were the other tourers! A huge bonus is Johana shared a lot of history as we walked which I wasn’t expecting. All in all I can’t recommend this tour enough. Thanks Johana and team. :)

Love it!!

Our food tour in Roma was truly unforgettable. Every stop highlighted the incredible flavors and creativity that make Mexico City’s food scene so special. From street bites to hidden gems, each tasting was better than the last. What made the experience absolutely outstanding was our tour guide Johana. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the neighborhood’s history, culture, and culinary traditions. We learned so much, not just about the food itself, but about the stories and people behind it. Their passion and insight brought Roma to life in a way we never could’ve experienced on our own. We walked away full, inspired, and already wanting to do it again. If you’re visiting Mexico City, this tour is an absolute must!

If you want delicious try this food tour!

We have been on other food tours in Mexico but this one was the best! Jossie was most patient as we got stuck in traffic and ended up being a few minutes late, she kept in constant contact with us letting us know where to turn and holding the first course for us to try before we moved onto the rest of the tour. She was informative, patient and kept us together even though it was quite crowded the historic district of Mexico. Or organization with each of the vendors was obvious, they welcomed her and treated her like an old friend which in turn meant they treated us like old friends! This was definitely more upscale each place was clean the market, one of the best we’ve ever seen in Mexico! Highly recommend Chelsea and this company for their communication their variety of taste and professionalism

Montse led a great food tour through Roma Norte. She knows the local foods and neighborhood restaurants. Everywhere we went the food was tasty and inventive. Additionally, she provided great insight on the area, its history and architecture. We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour and highly recommend it.
