Joana was an incredible tour guide. Our group learned so much about the food history, city history, and she really had alot to add at each of the food spots. Highly recommend doing if it’s your first time visiting and do it early on so you can get acquainted to the neighborhood and city. We learned so much!

Excelente tour, toda la comida que probamos estaba deliciosa con sabores que se han transmitido de generación en generación, experiencia 100% local! Lo volveriamos a tomar sin dudar. Muy bueno para conocer Yucatan desde la opción gastronomica. Al final unos cocteles super frescos y deliciosos.

This is the best food tour we have ever done. Josette was an amazing guide, bubbly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and she took us to eateries we would never had found and told us the history of each delicious dish. We visited, among other places, a family diner, a bustling market, a food stall, a crazy cantina, and an elegant restaurant in a historic building. Everywhere we went, the owners magicked up for Josette a table for 10 with dainty plates of delicious food, refreshing drinks or trays of strange and wonderful fruit. Think of it as a tasting menu with exercise, enjoyed with new friends. Not cheap, but worth every single peso.
