We had an amazing day with Dania on this tour. Her knowledge of the city, friendly demeanour and all-round “goodness” made it a real treat to spend this time together. Very informative to interact with the generational operations providing traditional Yukatan food and beverage in Merida’s Old City. The craftsmanship screams in both the varied food offerings and the artistic beverage preparations that we enjoyed. Highly recommended

Absolutely brilliant tour! Jossie was so knowledgable, fun and made the best experience! I thought I had tried everything Mexico City had to offer - Jossie proved me wrong! So many great stops, and we were all great friends by the end. It was truly a highlight of my time in Mexico City! Thank you Jossie!!

Mexico City Food Tour - 5 Stars!

We went on the Food Tour of Mexico City with Jimena and it was terrific. We were able to try so many different and interesting foods, and Jimena was so sweet and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this tour with Jimena highly enough.

What an amazing night!! having read the reviews already, I kind of knew what to expect but I just didn’t realize how excellent it really would be!!! Jorge met us at the entrance of the meeting point, which was very easy to find. He made us feel immediately at home with him. The other people that we were with were also very nice and it was comfortable right from the start. We made a total of five stops, and the first place had amazing food and an artisanal beer, which was only brewed for that Cantina alone, which made it very special. The food at every stuff that we had was very interesting and very good, by the time we got to the last stop, we couldn’t eat anymore. There was a fair bit of walking, but my husband, who has a slight mobility issue, had no problems at all, and I think it might’ve been a total of about 1 mile or so over the four hours we were out. It was Valentine’s Day, so some of the stops were a little bit busy and everybody was having a great time. By the end of the tour we had gotten to know each other pretty well and Jorge summed everything up and asked us all what our favorites were and it was hard to pick one drink or one of the foods that we ate. He is an excellent tour guide and speaks very good English and is very helpful in every way possible. This was one of the best food tours I’ve ever been on and it made our stay in Merida so much more fun and enjoyable, knowing what the locals do and also helped us understand the culture so much better. We couldn’t have done this without meeting Jorge. You need to go on this tour! Don’t hesitate! We LOVED IT!!

My partner and I had the best time on this tour with Jossie. She was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. We got a great sampling of so many different foods, flavors, and stories and truly had a blast. Come hungry because you will be absolutely stuffed by the end of the tour. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food tour

This food tour was a great experience with a good variety of restaurants and dishes to try that we've never had before. It's clear that a lot of thought and planning went into the selection of restaurants, and we really appreciated how the restaurants themselves felt authentic (as opposed to tourist traps). Our tour guide, Camilla, was also fantastic! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the neighborhood and architecture. We will certainly recommend this tour to others.

We had an amazing day, full tummies, and happy hearts. Dania was our guide and she was lovely, fun, and knowledgeable. She passionately shared with us several staples of Yucatan cuisine and culture. She made all of us feel so welcomed and made effort throughout the day to get to know us each individually, and felt like a good friend by the end of the day. She also did a great job of accommodating those in the group who had food allergies or limitations.

(Translated by Google) A whole evening out with our guide Carlos. A great young guy who knows how to eat well. He took us to five taquerias and a mezcal bar. Along the way, we made a few extra stops to learn about Mexican history. We ate our fill (and more than enough) with the best tacos in town (even one with a Michelin star!). Thank you Carlos!!! (Original) Een hele avond op stap met onze gids Carlos. Een toffe jonge gast die weet wat lekker eten is. Hij nam ons mee naar 5 taquerias en een mezcalbar. Onderweg deden we nog een aantal extra stops om te leren over de Mexicaanse geschiedenis. We aten ons buikje (meer dan) rond met de beste tacos in town (zelfs eentje met een Michelin ster!) Dank je wel Carlos!!!

Our group of 6 loved the Coyoacan food tour led by the vibrant, well-organized and knowledgeable Jossie. The stops were diverse, the food and drinks excellent and the tour seamlessly accommodated vegan and non-pork preferences. We definitely ate food we wouldn’t have tried otherwise, including grasshopper as an optional add-on to a tostada. It was a delight to walk through the streets and markets of Coyoacan. The tour went from 12-4, but fid not feel too long … we had places to sit at each stop and Jossie was great about describing the food and the neighborhood. Definitely one of our CDMX highlights (as she promised it would be at the outset).
