Outstanding experience

This experience was awesome! Our group of three had Jonah and Matt as our mushers. They answered all our questions, took pictures with us and made our trip outstanding.

Perfect night under the Aurora!

Wow!! We were so lucky—we went on a gorgeous night with spectacular Northern Lights viewing. Our guide, Mike, was knowledgeable and friendly, and as enthusiastic about the lights as we were. He worked really hard making sure everybody had what they needed, while still keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun. Rod even stopped by and spent some time with us, which was such a treat! Can’t wait for our next visit to do it all over again!!

A Must-Do in Alaska!

Wow! The dogs and dog mushing tour was the highlight of my trip. My family of 6 adults did the one-hour tour, with folks ranging in age from 40-65 years old. It was comfortable, easy, and we loved all three of our mushers. Luther was so kind and enthusiastic about his work, sharing his knowledge and even letting us ride on the back! He took plenty of pics of us with the dogs, and introduced us to each one individually. They were all soooo sweet and happy! The other two mushers in our party, Deke and Joe, were just as friendly and even stayed a few minutes longer so we could say hi to their dogs as well. We couldn’t have had more fun. So glad to have found Rod’s!

We had a completely wonderful experience with Jimmy leading us. He taught us, entertained us and let us participate in the ride. It was all we hoped for and more. He even let us give the dog team a snack when our ride ended. Friendly, knowledgeable and above all FUN

Our dog sledding adventure on March 20th was wonderful, even lovelier than expected. Our guide, Deke was friendly, very accommodating and informative. The dogs were lovely and a pleasure to mingle with on breaks. The great outdoors of North Pole had breathtaking views and the weather was mild and sunny. All of the staff were a pleasure to deal; don't miss this opportunity to experience this when in Fairbanks!

We did snow moiling and ice fishing through Rods, and I could not recommend it more! 100% of the staff was so welcoming and kind and just excited to share Alaska with us. From the person who checked us in, to Will (who guided our snow mobile tour), to Mike (who taught us how to fish and helped me catch my first ever fish) we could not speak more highly. For snowmobiling you get a variety of experiences: : flat/straight/long stretch where we could get some speed, and small paths through the woods where we could see scenery, and may even see a Moose if you're lucky. For Ice fishing: the cabin is warm and fills with everyone sharing stories and cheering each other on and the smell of reindeer sausage and cooked fish. Would recommend

I had a wonderful experience with Laura on my 30 minute dog sled tour. It was so fun and unforgettable! Laura told be a lot about her dogs, their attitudes and energy levels. And they have a lot of it, I wish they could share with me lol All dogs were super friendly. You can pat them and take pictures during your tour. Thank you so much for this experience!

Mushing and sledding

Luther is amazing along with his team of Alaska Huskies. I had such a great time and Luther is so happy to share information about his dogs. They are definitely a happy bunch!! Our dog sledding experience was wonderful; even better than expected. Our guide, Deke, was friendly, very accommodating and informative. The dogs were lovely and a pleasure to interact with during breaks. The scenery was breathtaking and all staff were wonderful to us. The Dogs Enthusiasm is Catching

The dogs are so fun to observe while waiting to start the trip. They’re so excited about getting ready to run. Luther and Kristen were very personable and explained everything about the dogs and were happy to answer any questions.

Warm ice fishing

The cabin was nice and warm. Plenty of space. My family had fun fishing. Cody was a great host. He grilled caribou sausages for us and after we had caught some fish, he prepared and cooked our fish for us. Looking into the lake through the ice hole was fun. You could see your bait and fish swimming around nibbling on it. It was a great experience.

We were in the dog sledder less than 25 minutes. 5 minutes with it he dogs!!

Total time spent with us was less than 30 minutes. It was not one to 2 hours. I hope next time you will advertise with the correct time.
