Awesome!!

Trevor our guide was awesome! So helpful & knowledgeable. He helped to make sure we got fish to eat, let us stay inside the warm cabin but also go outside the cannon to fish in ice holes. Fish for dinner was cooked & so delicious! They do not offer transportation so make sure you have it set up ahead of time, but so worth it!!

Matt Hall and his dogs rock!

We had Matt Hall and it was an amazing experience to see all the dogs sled through and to hear about their weekly routines for the 1000 miles race! Matt was a great guide/sledder!

Mike was an amazing guide! We saw the northern lights and caught a few fish, which Mike cooked for us. It was an awesome experience!!

You can do ice fishing...

You can do ice fishing outside or in a heated cabin. The owner help us a lot for fishing and cooking.

The coach is so mean. The snowmobile ride just wouldn't let me drive, the instructor was as mad as hell.

We went on the dog sled, and it was so fun! The dogs were very cute and energized. Our guide Jonna was very chill, and told us a lot about Alaska and the dogs.

Amazing!

Amazing experience! Much exceeding my expectations. I did not know it’ll be so much fun driving a snowmobile. The scenery along the trail was just astonishing. Our guide was super passionate and friendly. Definitely love the whole trip and will recommend to anyone coming to Alaska.

Lovely trip through the forest!

My girlfriend and I had Matt Hall and his wonderful team of dogs lead us on a fun lap around the forest. We were very comfy on the sled and had a very smooth ride. Matt was great! It was very fun getting to hear about the dogs and his experience working with them. I would recommend this to anyone looking to go on a fun adventure.

Dogs for the Win

I had an amazing time. The trails were beautiful and the mushers were very engaging. The location had boots, jackets, and all winter gear. Everything was perfect.

Great Alaskan Experience

Amazing experience sledding with guides whose lives revolve around racing with these talented teams of dogs. Joe and Matt were great, and we enjoyed learning about their racing experiences (look who became fans of the Iditarod!) Lovely conversation with family run business while get set to go out. Cannot recommend this experience enough!

Amazing Dog Sled Experience!

My brother and I did a dog sledding ride yesterday! I couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was! Jimmy’s dogs did great and were so adorable. The sights we saw were incredible and meeting Jimmy’s dogs was so much fun! Both Jimmy and the dogs were excellent!

Cody is fantastic, very warm and cozy cabin. Easy to have fun and fishing was actually really fun and relaxing. Give Cody a promotion! The fish is delicious!

Nice Fishing Experience, our guide Trevor was amazing!

Wonderful experience for us! Trevor was an amazing guide and took great care of us. He started with detailed fishing instructions, dug outdoor holes for us to switch between inside and outside fishing, gave very nice demos of how to clean, prepare, and cook the fish, and is patient and professional throughout the 4+ hour fishing session. We caught five fish in total, completing the trifecta of King Salmon, Coho Salmon and Rainbow Trout. Eating the fresh-caught fish on the spot feels very fulfilling. Would definitely recommend, patience is the key (and the fish liver does make a great bait!)

Jimmy was an exceptional tour guide who led our group, accompanied by his canine companions. His extensive knowledge of the dogs’ history and personalities was evident! showcasing their familial bond rather than mere working animals. In addition to my experience with Jimmy, Rod’s facility is great. The staff is warm welcoming, and the facility is stocked with an abundance of name-brand gear that can be borrowed to stay warm in any weather conditions. Complimentary hot water is available to prepare any beverage you desire, and hot hands are also provided.

Perfect Day Trip from Fairbanks

Enjoyed our time on the ice with kids and grandparents. Trevor did a great job introducing us newbies to the best fishing technique, the kinds of fish in the lake, interesting tidbits of life in Alaska, prepping hot sausages, keeping that oven hot and cabin comfy, and prepping our haul. We had a great time taking advantage of the limited daylight, a short distance from Fairbanks and the ability to stop at North Pole on Christmas Eve.
