Amazing Experience!
Our guide Victoria was awesome! Super nice and patient to everyone’s skill level in the snow mobile group. Rod’s Alaskan Guide Service is top notch, super professional, they provide the gear, and bathrooms are really nice.

Really fun, the cabin was very comfortable, the snacks were good, and Mike was the best , he cleaned and prepped our fish to cook that night

This place is highly recommend, we don't have reservation, everywhere is booked that day, we was worried the plan will gonna change the day, i called them, they got me in right the way, all the stuff is so clean, i can tell everything clean after people Used. I will definitely go again

Exceptional + Glasses Vs Contact Lenses
They had all the gear needed for us to enjoy the adventure comfortably despite intense cold. Guide was great to keep us safe and also enjoy the wilderness. Heated helmets kept them from fogging up. Only suggestion is if they had told us while booking or after booking that contact lenses will be better than glasses if one had a choice.

Dog Sledding!
Emma, Deke, and Luther were amazing at guiding us throughout the trails. The hour tour was the perfect amount of time to meet & greet with the dogs and also get a chance to assist with leading the sled team. The staff made sure we all stayed warm and provided the proper snow gear to stay warm the entire trip. Loved all the dogs and definitely recommend this tour if you’re visiting Fairbanks.

This was an amazing experience! These dogs are very well taken care of by each team owner and they love to work!! Our lead dog was a lover! When we stopped to meet the dogs, he wanted all the attention and gave lots of hugs ❤️

Luther’s awesome team!
This has always been on my bucket list, the place was so nice and cozy, the dogs were so energetic and amazing at their job!! The whole experience was worth it. We were also given some extra warm boots and gloves! The musher was so amazing at answering all of our questions so knowledgeable!

There are many places like it, but this one is definitely my top favorite. They got all the right stuff for you just in case you ever needed anything from top to bottom, I mean beanies, jackets, gloves to boots, you named it, they've got it. Your safety is their priority, courteous services of what they provide. Outstanding jobs.

Great experience of ice fishing and aurora light!
Trevor is our guide and he is awesome! He had everything ready for us and constantly checking on the room temperature to make sure we are staying in warm. He also very experienced in fishing and give great tips! We also saw the pretty aurora, he went outside to check for us and noticed us right on time! At the end, we rated fresh salmon. Overall, I really enjoyed and recommended Trevor!

So much fun!
We absolutely loved this ice fishing experience! Even though our group didn’t catch a lot of fish, our guide Cody still made the experience so much fun! We were able to stay warm in the cabin, learn and get better at ice fishing, and even eat delicious reindeer sausages and the fish we caught! Cody was honestly amazing and we would love to come back and ice fish with him again!

Our guide was super attentive and kind, the dogs were lovely and was such a wonderful experience! It does get REALLY cold so dress appropriately, although they do provide you with better gear if you don’t have it, classy touch!

Nice ice-fishing experience
Noah is super nice! I caught 3 fishes today! He kept the camboose warm and comfortable!! We also had hot chocolate and hotdogs during fishing.

Snowmobiling
She is great!! We saw moose and had moments for taking pictures of the beautiful landscape. It was also fun at the end when we got to speed up!

Excellent informative and fun dog sled
Really high quality experience. Our family of 5 went on 3 sleds between us. When we arrived they kitted us out well in extra warm boots etc. on the sled we learned tons and got to drive. Each driver is using their own dogs and so the relationship between handler and dogs is amazing. All dogs well looked after. This was an amazing experience. We did the hour, I worried after 5 mins if I would get too cold but the experience distracts you from that. Excellent experience

Well-run operation
This was a fun activity and included two sleds, dog teams, and two guides for us. My husband and I rode with Lauro, who is also an Iditarod participant, and my son rode with Cooper, who is a younger guy and very cool. The set up was very nice; the meeting point was impressive. There was equipment for us provided, like warm bibs, snow boots, and parkas. We had worn our warmest gear, but we are from South Carolina and don’t own super warm things. I was grateful for the attention to detail in order to ensure our comfort. The activity started on time and the dogs were a lot of fun. The dog teams seemed to take their jobs seriously and the they seemed to genuinely enjoy the run. The scenery was gorgeous and we got a lot of time to ride deep into the woods for a real nice opportunity to be in the beautiful wintry solitude of Alaska. We got a short break in order for the dogs to have a break. The guides offered to take pictures of us with their dogs and used my camera. I appreciated that so very much! They introduced us to each dog and allowed time for us to greet and pet them. The dogs are so cute and you can spot their personalities pretty easily. Some were the eager runners, some were the overseers that checked in with the team often, some were just in it for the fun, and a couple were a bit aloof and not too interested in meeting us. They seemed content and well cared for. The guides took the time to answer questions and offered interesting information about their sport. Our ride was about 45 minutes over-all and lots of fun. I’d do this activity again if I had the chance and I would certainly not look elsewhere. This is the company I’d recommend. A huge bonus for us was the proximity to our cabin. We were staying on Silver Street and our drive to get to main site was less than 15 minutes drive. I want to say thank you so much to both our guides for giving us a memorable experience, and for their kindness.
