One day of snowmobiling wasn’t enough!
Josh took us on our first experience snowmobiling. We had individual machines and toured for 2 hours. Josh was super friendly, taking the time to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable. We had so much fun, we went back the next day for a 1 hour tour!

We had so much fun! Emily and Luther were great mushers! Very informative and the place was beautiful! The dogs were so sweet! As a added benefit, we found out this place is veteran owned which is awesome!

Alaska newbie priceless experience
This was incredibly fun. Well worth the time and money. We did the 2 hour snow mobile tour. Huge shout out to our guide Josh! We also did the 30 minute dog sledding. What a wonderful unique experience. Jimmy's Dogs was a great guide. His dogs were friendly and so fun to watch doing something they love.

Mike made our expedition!
Mike was an awesome guide and made our fishing expedition a highlight of our trip! He helped set up everyone for success, including people new to fishing, giving advice and sharing cool stories. Overall, a great time!

Fantastic mushing experience!
Our musher Jimmy was fantastic. We loved learning about the dogs and mushing. Jimmy’s dogs were amazing - they had as much fun as we did! We especially liked loving on the dogs at the end.

If you are a dog- lover you won’t want miss this opportunity. Not only do you get to experience dog sledding, but you get to interact with these furry little babies. It was so much fun and our guide lady was super friendly!

We had so much fun! The staffs were professional and knowledgeable. Kids learned a couple things about dog racing. Highly recommended for family!

It was such an incredible experience! I loved how he look after his dogs. We did 2 hrs tour, definitely better than 30mins tour. You would enjoy and know better not just take photos. Thank you so much!

Joe’s team is great!
Joe was very knowledgeable and ver nice person as well. He took us through what dog mushing about, introduced us to his 9-member furry team, including Peach, which was a lovely middle team member. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Joe, his team, and Rod’s Alaskan service

Mushing with Jimmy and his dogs!
We went with Jimmy and Jimmy's dogs. Did the 2 hour experience which was fantastic, Jimmy answered all of my questions (of which there were many) my curiosity was well and truly satisfied. Such an interesting and unique animal/human bond and you really gain an appreciation for how incredibly important these dogs must have been. No doubt without them life would never have been the same in Alaska. It's amazing that they can be loving and affectionate, yet so tough and hardworking too. Clearly they also love pulling the sled! We also got to take turns driving the dogs/sled and plenty of time to meet them all. I particularly loved one of Jimmy's dogs, "Butch Cassidy"! So much character.

Great ride
It was great. They make sure you know how to ride safely before you head out. They made sure you were dressed warm enough. They do provide warm gear if you don’t have the right gear.

Snowmobiling on a frozen lake!!
Oh my goodness what an incredible time! We had Victoria as our guide and she was awesome!! She took us through the coolest trail and then to the frozen Chena Lake! Something we will never forget! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful dog sledding Experience near Fairbanks
We had an amazing time during the dog sledding experience with Jimmy and his beautiful team of all black Alaskan huskies. Jimmy was very informative about the history and culture of dog sledding in Alaska starting all the way from pre historic times, to the gold rush and to the present day. He also took some great photos for us and we loved having the opportunity to interact with these wonderful animals; the leader of the team, Batman was especially friendly!

Mushing with Jimmy and his huskies
We went dog sledding at Rod's Alaskan Adventure with Jimmy and his black adorable team of huskies. We had an amazing time. Jimmy was really warm and welcoming. He let us pet his huskies and took a lot of pictures for us too! He also gave us some great restaurant recommendations around the town. I highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was not friendly at all!! He was not answering any of our questions and he was just not interested It was not that great experience

A “must do” Alaska experience!
If you come to the Fairbanks area in the winter, this is a “must do” experience. Our musher, Emma L., was great - friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. You could tell she really loved her team. We had an amazing time and our 30 minute trip was over much too soon. The business, RAGS, provided snow pants, boots, neck covers, and gloves, if needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
