Our guide, Will, was fantastic. He took the time to listen to us and personalize the tour as we went. It is clear he is incredibly knowledgeable about the city, the culture, and the culinary scene. Not only did we enjoy the tour itself, but he gave us recommendations that helped shape the rest of our time in Prague. He timed it so we ended up getting a beautiful picture of the castle at sunset.

Great food tour, thanks to our guide

The food tour with Prague City Adventures was the perfect way to start our trip in Prague. Our tour guide, Will, was fantastic. It was evident that he had a great knowledge of the city, the culture, and the culinary scene. He personalized our experience as the tour went on. And he added several nice touches, including timing a picture at sunset of Prague Castle. He provided several recommendations that helped shape the rest of our trip.

Private Prague Jewish Quarter Tour: Stories from Josefov

We had an amazing tour with of the Jewish Quarter with Katy. She did an amazing job of combining both the history and culture of Prague and the Jews throughout history. As a Catholic I learned a lot about the customs, symbols, stories and rituals throughout history that are centered in Prague. Katy made me feel very prepared for some of the harder conversations, especially with children in our tour group and she did a great job of answering all of their questions and keeping them engaged. We toured 4 synagogues (I suggest doing any day but Saturday to be able to tour the interiors) and we learned about the history, folklore and religion associated with each one. She really took the time to make sure that we saw everything that was of interest to us and I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in seeing the synagogues with some historical and cultural context.

Nikki (Nikola) gave us one of the best experiences we could have imagined while in Prague. She is extremely knowledgeable and we couldn’t stump her with any questions! She took her time and led at our pace. We were especially happy that she took us to the peacocks which was so relaxing and also a great experience. The Czech pastries didn’t hurt either! They were delicious. When coming back to Prague we will always ask for Nikki. She’s the best!

The highlight of my family’s trip by far!!! We had so much fun with our group and our guides were the absolute best. Funny, informative, and so kind. The food was fantastic as they took us to restaurants we would have never found and ate food we never would have ordered. Such a fun way to get to know the city and its cuisine. I can’t recommend this experience enough!!

Jakub gave us an amazing food tour!!! Dĕkuji!! It was a great mix of cuisine, Czech culture & historical education! It was a wonderful walk around the city. It truly felt like we were immersed in the local culture in a way that only a local guide could give us. I’d recommend this to any of my friends visiting!

We tried loads of traditional Czech dishes, and everything was tasty and well explained along the way. The biggest surprise was the local cola, which turned out to be really good (who knew?). Definitely one of the highlights of our trip – highly recommend!

Fun and knowledgeable guides.

The tour group I was with (Mysterious Adventures Tours) used these guides for our trip to Prague and some outlying cities. They were knowledgeable, organized and fun. We loved our guides and they shared the best of their country with us. I would love to return to Prague and explore more and I will definitely call on Prague City Adventures to guide me.
