Jana was our wonderful guide on our Prague Castle Tour. She is charming, speaks perfect English, and has an incredible wealth of knowledge, all of which made our tour fun and interesting! If you want a personal and engaging tour where you are not part of a crowd trailing a guide that’s miles away from you, then I highly recommend Prague City Adventures! Thank you Jana from Maya and Yasmine

We highly recommend this tour. My wife and I luckily met our great tourist guide Pavla. She introduced us gorgeous Prague in the best way. We had a chance to visit and learn about historical places, eat great food, and feel the spring spirit of the Czech Republic.

Our Food Tour Guide, Jan Friedman, was knowledgeable, friendly and great fun. He showed us some real hidden gems that we would never have tried if we had been on our own and he was really interesting. He shared some tales from his childhood and it was a great insight into the real Prague. 5 stars

I honestly can't imagine doing Prague Castle without the guides. Some parts of Prague are best enjoyed solo, but Prague Castle is not one of them. Nikola and Jan take a great route, showing you the castle gardens and panoramic views from the outside, so you get a sense of he scope and vastness of the Castle. We then saw the inside of the Cathedral (St. Vitus), the Palace, and the basilica, and the Golden Lane. We also took a beautiful walk through Mala Strana and they gave me time to do some shopping. They covered everything beautifully, and it was one of my best days in Prague.

We highly recommend Prague City Adventures. Our knowledgable guides Tereza and Jirka explained the details behind the many locations we visited. They were most wonderful company and the information they provided really filled out our experience of the city. They provided wonderful background on the people, culture and history of Prague and the Czech Republic. It really made the city come alive for us. They were a lot of fun to spend time with and at the conclusion of our tour they provided great recommendations for restaurants to eat at. We highly recommend Prague City Adventures if you are visiting the city.

My family and I had just two full days to see all that Prague has to offer. We didn't think it could be done but with the help of Michaela - aka Misa - and Nikola, we feel we had full immersion in to the culture. The "Hidden Gems" tour revealed a part of the city to us that we would never have sought out on our own and the tour of the Jewish Quarter was so insightful! Both Misa and Nikola are great representatives of their city and they epitomize what hospitality is all about. I highly recommend their service and would work with Prague City Adventures again, in a heartbeat!!

The PRIVATE: Prague Old Town Food Tour was most definitely the high point of our stay in Prague. Our very friendly, fluent English-speaking tour guide Tereza met us at our hotel, escorted us to the Old Town area on the tram, and led the two of us on a very enlightening tour of the city. The five restaurants/shops we visited and the food they served were almost incidental; as Tereza provided us with short summaries of the city’s history, culture, people, and landmarks along the way. We saw many of the same sites that we’d see on another walking tour later in our visit; but with much more opportunity to pause to ask questions, delve into details, and even modify our route along the way. Tereza took our physical limitations into account; making sure that she didn’t walk too quickly, that we were aware of any hazardous traffic or walking conditions, and went out of her way to ensure that I was able to understand what she was saying, despite my being hard of hearing. We visited five culinary sites during the tour; a bistro, two restaurants, a butcher shop, and a coffee shop. At four of these we were treated to traditional Czech fare, with the fifth (a Vietnamese restaurant) being an example of the changing face of Prague’s population and culture. Tereza helped us to navigate the unfamiliar menu choices; and while we liked some things better than others, we’d be glad to partake of any of the dishes again in the future. Our tour was an evening tour during the early Spring, and Tereza even provided us with a taste of her father’s slivovice to help us keep warm during a chilly walk along the darkened Vltava River. After pictures in the Old Town Square Tereza led us through pedestrian-thronged streets, past the Powder Gate and Municipal House to our tram stop, and escorted us back to our hotel; a definite benefit of a private tour. But it didn’t end there! A couple days later an email appeared that contained the names of the restaurants we’d visited, a list of the food and drinks we’d sampled at each one, and a link to recipes for the foods we’d particularly enjoyed! And if that weren’t enough, Tereza even included recommendations for places to eat during our remaining time in Prague that we hadn’t been able to sample during the tour. My Top 10 Prague guidebook was wrong in not including this tour as something to do in Prague. It was the highlight of our visit, and we’ll definitely do it again if we return.

Outstanding Value! 11 of us really loved our time with Misa. Tried multiple styles of Czech food, but NOT the norms like goulash, schnitzel, and chimney cakes. Unique, delicious, and filling. She takes you out of the tourist traps and into where the locals live and eat. Very personal experience, Misa knew all of our names quickly and related to all of us in a personal way. Just book the tour!

I really enjoyed exploring the Easter markets with Katy. It was full of surprises. The book monument is such a wonderful idea (until I get there and decide I want to read one of the books so I just pull out the one I want and the whole thing comes crashing down… I probably would). There are lots of beautifully-decorated eggs – there are so many different designs and ways of making the eggs and it’s all very creative. The markets also sell socks, food and toys and there are people dancing. Easter in the UK is mainly just an excuse to eat chocolate (since when do we need an excuse to do that?) and it’s lovely that it's a real celebration in Prague and an opportunity to have fun. At the end of the tour, Katy took us on a bonus trip to see the Astronomical Clock. It really was a lovely tour. Katy is a great guide who really takes the trouble to explain things that might be new to us, like the Czech traditions.

Amazing Czech Beer and tapas tour led by Guilliaume! An insightful tour, with really good beer stops out of the main area off the beaten track. Although it was only the 4 of us and Gulliaume/Will, it meant he could tailor it to us. I would recommend!

Pavla showed us around Prague Castle. She was an amazing and very kind host. She is a professional and knows a lot. A 2 hour tour can easily be boring or not interesting. This tour was the opposite. Pavla gave us the perfect amount of information. She knows how to skip the lines and where to stop for intersting sights and where not to stop, which made our visit to this huge place very comforable. We learned so much and had fun! If you want to visit the Castle with a guide then this is the tour!

Pavla was an absolutely outstanding guide on this intimate exploration of Czechia’s fairytale jewel: Prague. There were only three of us on this tour, which was fantastic, as it really helped to foster a more in depth understanding of the city. Pavla took us to so many of the most famous destinations in Prague, such as the astronomical clock tower’s charming hourly show, but also its quieter treasures. My particular favourite being a walk through Prague’s historic monastery! She was able to explain so much of this beautiful city’s history, with candour, verve, and skill, and it was fascinating learning more about Prague, and more broadly Czechia’s, complex past. The tour included a delicious meal at a traditional restaurant which definitely elevated my experience. Czech food is hearty so come hungry! I would highly recommend this tour when in Prague. It is such a special city and Pavla was the perfect guide 🇨🇿

Excellent tour! Fantastic blend of culture, food and learning a new city. Míša is a wonderful host and truly knowledgeable about the local foods and history. Highly recommend this tour to anyone and perfect for any age. I did this on a whim as a solo traveler and so happy I did. The tour was the perfect activity to acquaint me with the local food scene, where to go and where to avoid. My guide was extraordinary, very knowledgeable and engaging.

The food tour was awesome!!! I personally highly recommend this, Nikola Was an outstanding guide! There was no rush from place to place, Nikola kept the pace casual and relaxing. She not only took us around to some awesome local food venues, but took her time and showed us around the town, and told us about the highlights and history that made the evening even more grand. As we walked through Prague to the five different establishments, she would point out historical landmarks along with what the history events included. She did a great job of mixing up the meals with the desserts all while finishing it off with a shot of Becherovka (Czech Republic, herbal liquor) at a beautiful location on the river over looking the Castle lit up by artificial light and the night sky where we celebrated a successful evening and enchanting new friendship. I personally highly recommend this tour.

Joanna was an amazing host. She led us all the way through the various tapas & beer places, explaining everything about the various beers and the tapas we had. I had beer in other places outside this tour, and they were all great, but the beers I had during this tour were the best during my visit to Prague. The places selected were all fantastic, and we also enjoyed all the walking around the city and the use of public transit for a couple of the longer moves we made. One thing that makes it great is that you'll visit places that are mostly frequented by locals, and off the beaten path of the more touristy attractions that are often not the most authentic ones. This is an experience that I would definitely recommend, and even repeat if I ever visit Prague again after a while.

I was pleasantly surprised by the choices of the establishments we visited. Such a great experience. The food was fantastic and we visited places that were not touristy which means I wouldn't have tried them on my own. Michaela made us feel like we were enjoying food and drinks with longtime friends. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Food Tour in Prague with Prague City Adventures! When you take a food tour in a place you’ve never been before, I think it’s the best way to immerse yourself in the culture and history of a place. I had the BEST food tour with Nikola of Prague City Adventures. Thank you SO much for our fabulous food tour! You are an amazing guide! I am 100% certain that because of your food tour, I was introduced to dishes that I would Never have discovered on my own! Your introduction to the foods of the Czech Republic and Prague made me love them! I could not stop thinking about the delicious dishes we at on the tour and the history that surrounded everything. The variety of dishes that we tried were from typical snacks, appetizers, main dishes, desserts and delicious drinks! I appreciated the follow up email with the dishes that we ate on the tour along with a google map of her favorite places to visit and other great restaurants in Prague. A tour with Prague City Adventures is something not to be missed if you are coming to Prague! I highly recommend it!

We loved our experience with Misa - the tour felt like a backstage pass to the castle complex expertly curated for what we were interested in. We grabbed lunch and a beer and then headed to the castle - this felt like an afternoon with a local friend sharing great stories of their country vs a dry guided tour recited from a history book. High recommend!
