Our guide, Katerina (Katy) picked us up at 8:30 am at our hotel for our Prague city tour through Prague City Adventures. The driver, Katy and Prague City Adventures were very flexible in helping plan our private tour. For the first half of our tour we had a driver. He took us on a panoramic tour around the city and stopped at several view points for pictures. We saw part of the old walls in a few locations. We also walked through a fascinating cemetery where famous scientists, actors, musicians, artists, etc. were buried. One of our most interesting stops was the Strahov Stadium - one of the largest stadiums ever built. Our driver’s final stop with us was dropping us near Prague Castle. We ate a traditional Czech lunch, then stopped for a craft beer and headed to the castle via tram. Katerina gave us an extensive tour of the castle complex (around 111 acres), including: • St. Vitus Cathedral – crown jewels & tombs of kings • Old Royal Palace – Vladislav Hall • Golden Lane – 16th-century tiny homes of castle artisans • St. George’s Basilica – Romanesque treasure • Royal Gardens & South Gardens • Changing of the Guard at the main gate Really had a great day with Katy, she gave us a great overview of Prague, lots of history and personal perspective as well as gave us ideas for our day on our own.

Kuba was friendly, welcoming and very enthusiastic with a wealth of knowledge! The group was small and cosy and the venues visited were well thought out and the variation and quantity of lovely authentic food was extremely good value for money. On a general note. We have been on quite a few food tours around European Cities and with all but one exception did we get the group photo and further information after us all giving the guides our email addresses. What happens to them all?

Martin gave us a great tour of Czech cuisine with lots of interesting history sprinkled in!
We met Martin, our guide for our Prague evening old town food and drink tour at 5 pm. Sadly we were the only ones on the tour, but Martin was lots of fun for our 4 stops! First course of business, we always want to know how to cheer 🥂 in the country we are visiting - Na zdraví - to your health! Stop 1 Chlebíček - Traditional appetizer of fancy open face sandwich Stop 2 - on a boat docked on the river Pivovarskŷ guláš - Brewery beef Goulash with Carlsbad dumplings and fried onion Piněné knedlíky uzenŷm masem - Stuffed potato dumplings with smoked meat sauerkraut, fried onion Beer for both of us Stop 3 Svíčková - beef sirloin in a rich sauce made from cream, root vegetables and spices served with bread dumplings. Cheesy potato noodles with bacon on top Wine for me, beer for Jeff Stop 4 Apple strudel Becherovka - herbal liqueur We very much enjoyed our evening with Martin. His stops and food choices represented the country well and were all delicious!

Great Experience
Amazing tour with Nikola! Very sweet and great private tour. She was the perfect pace and very knowledgeable. She also showed us how to use public transportation which came in very handy!

We really enjoyed the evening and the food. Go with an appetite! We especially enjoyed the stories of life during communism. Overall a great experience.

We worked with the staff at Prague City Adventures a few months before our trip and booked a number of private tours for a group of four. They were so accommodating and we were able to see and do everything we wanted including a trip to Cesky Krumlov which we loved. Our three guides were absolutely wonderful; very knowledgeable, patient with our questions and very pleasant to be around. Great experience for our first trip to Prague from the states.

Great food,company and insight in to Czechs
A lovely opportunity to mix with other nationality travellers, expertly hosted by Kuba, who delivered attentiveness without being intrusive. Lots of delicious foods to try and taste. My personal favorites were the duck with cabbage and roasted cauliflower with gnocchi at the penultimate stop. Thanks to all of our international group and most wonderful f all to Kuba - informative and entertaining!

Excellent experience with deep knowledge
Martian was our tour guide. Such a pleasant person with deep knowledge of the city and castle plus with an interesting life thathe brought so much color to the events that happened in the modern era of the castle that really drove home the experience. He adapted his tour to meet our ability restrictions and yet we felt like we saw everything and learned so much during the tour that several times afterwards in coversations or watching other things in history on TV - Martins tour info added to what we were seeing on these shows. If you get a chance to take this tour you should - well worth it!

We did the Prague Food Tour with Kuba as our host. We're back now, so I can say after 2 weeks of adventures and tours this one still stands out as a highlight of our trip. Even though a rainy evening we had a great time. Four stops with two different food items at each stop plus a few surprises along the way as we tucked in out of the rain. Kuba was easy to talk with and explained how the foods are part of Czech culture. He made sure everyone was enjoying everything. We even made a short pause when we past by the hotel of someone in the group so they could grab an umbrella. If he even thought someone might not enjoy something would offer something else - however everything was all so tasty.

My wife and I went on a food tour through Prague with Nikola when my in-laws were visiting, and even for those of us who live here, it was worth every moment. The dishes were familiar, but she took us to spots we’d never found on our own. She’s a great storyteller who kept us engaged the whole evening and took the time to get to know us. We left with new restaurants to try and a deeper appreciation for the city. We even bumped into her the next day on another tour and had a quick catch-up. Her energy and genuine interest made the entire experience personal, memorable, and well worth every bite.

Awesome Prague Food and Drink Tour!
This was an awesome Prague food and drink Tour! My wife and I loved it! Kuba was our (English speaking) tour guide and he was extremely funny and fluent in English but, continuously demonstrated to us the Czech pronunciations of food, beverage and even several movie quotes/impersonations while taking us to multiple awesome venues that provided authentic Czech offerings of food and beverages. Definitely the best tour of our visit to Prague!

Absolutely fantastic!
We had so much fun on this tour! Our tour guide was at the meeting point right when we arrived. He was knowledgeable and full of energy. Always asking if we had everything we needed. So much food and full glassed of beer or wine! We walked a lot, which helped with all the food!! I highly recommend this tour if you'd like an introduction to Czech food and a bit of history.
