Fun tour

Our family of 12 had a great tour with Nikola! We learned a lot about Czech holiday traditions, had some time for shopping at a Christmas market, and got the chance to try some yummy treats!

We knew very little of the Jewish heritage in Prague. There was so much fascinating history to learn. Katy did such an amazing job telling the stories as we approached each Synagogue or landmark. The tour could have gone on for hours but she covered a great deal of detail in 3 hours.

Most fun tour in Prague

Amazing tour! Our guide ( Nikola) was knowledgeable and sweet. Gave us so much information on the town’s history and all the food we were eating and its origins. Best tour in Prague! A must!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Katy from Prague City Adventures. From the moment we met her, she made the city come alive through stories, traditions, and personal touches that you simply would not get on a typical tour. Katy shared so much about Czech history and Christmas traditions, explaining the meaning behind customs, foods, and celebrations in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. Visiting some of her favorite Christmas markets felt incredibly special. It was clear these were places she truly loves, not just stops on a standard route. She pointed out details we would have walked right past on our own and gave thoughtful recommendations on what to taste, what to look for, and why each market mattered. What truly set Katy apart was her warmth and pride in her culture. She created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where questions were encouraged and conversations felt natural. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had not only seen Prague, but also gained a deeper appreciation for Czech traditions and the spirit of the holiday season. If you are looking for an authentic, memorable experience in Prague, especially during Christmas, I cannot recommend Katy highly enough. She is knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely delightful to spend time with.

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas market tour. Our guide, Nikola, truly went above and beyond. It was so special to learn about Prague’s Christmas traditions and the history behind its markets. We visited a wonderful variety of Christmas markets, and Nikola made a point to take us to the ones locals actually go to, explaining what made each market special. Nikola also pointed out the NGO-run stalls and explained which causes the proceeds support, which added a really meaningful layer to the experience. Along the way, Nikola grabbed treats for us to try and highlighted especially good stalls. As an extra thoughtful touch, Nikola even sent us recipes afterward for some of the delicious drinks and treats we sampled on the tour. I absolutely recommend this tour. It lets you experience the magic of Prague’s Christmas markets in a way you simply can’t by wandering them on your own.

Great experience- great guide Kuba

This was a fun experience with the best tour guide. Kuba was able to explain all of the food choices and some of the history of Prague. He was kind, considerate, and very informative. We tried typically Czech cuisine and a few different places and there was a good mix of sweet and savory foods. You will definitely leave feeling full! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Prague and wanting to try the local dishes!

He even had a few surprises in his backpack that I won't spoil for you. As expected, he talked about Czech history and culture as we walked between destinations. Kuba was entertaining and engaging throughout the evening and really made us feel comfortable. If you want to learn about Czech food and culture, book this tour!

This tour was excellent, Miss was so friendly and knowledgeable. she took us to a couple of markets used by. The locals which we would not have found. Highly recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our “Merry market Christmas tour“ with Prague City Adventures. Our tour guide, Katy Janouskova, was delightful. She is a Prague native and is incredibly knowledgeable about Czech culture and shared many fascinating Christmas traditions with us. We had mulled wine, traditional grilled cheese on rye bread, hot, mead, and delicious fried potatoes on a stick! She took us to three different Christmas markets that are unique and are not the most common ones that tourists visit. It was fun to visit the market stalls with her, as she was able, for example, to tell us what the most traditional Czech Christmas ornaments and activities are. Throughout the tour, she related interesting aspects of The Czech Republic and her experiences growing up here. This was our first full day in Prague, so it was especially valuable to tour the markets with her as she gave us many hints about navigating our way through the city. She was also a font of information about good places to eat and other things to visit during our stay here. She was kind enough to email us several good pictures that she took of us during the tour. We highly recommend this experience, and Katie as your guide.

Humor and a Love of Christmas

Our guide was wonderful she was cheerful and loved sharing the different traditions of the country as well as how these might contrast to our own. She picked out special locations as requested. She provided guidance for our return at night to see the lights and helped us under the underground metro which became are go to to see all the area has to offer. Biggest thing she smiled and had joy in her voice we did a couple other tours and everyone was sad and bitter
