We did a 3 hour Christmas market tour with Prague City Adventures and loved it. Our guide, Michaela, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, so friendly, and great with our kids. She took us to several local Christmas markets that most tourists would never find on their own, which made the whole experience feel really special. Michaela shared Czech Christmas traditions and told the girls about the Little Mole, a quiet character who is every Czech kid’s best friend. The hand painted ornaments were beautiful, and we loved learning what makes Czech Christmas markets unique. We tried local foods and of course mulled wine. First time for us. Adam wasn’t sold, but I actually liked it and it definitely warmed us up on a very cold day. If you’re heading to Prague, Prague City Adventures is absolutely worth checking out. Great guides, thoughtful routes, and a really authentic experience.

After seven weeks in Europe and dozens of excellent guides, Jan truly stands out as exceptional. Jan thoughtfully customised the tour to suit our family and made it fun, meaningful, and accessible for everyone. He is a natural storyteller with incredible energy and warmth — I suspect the most open and welcoming person in Czechia and one of the best guides in Europe . He checked in regularly, adjusted the pace as needed, and kept the kids engaged with questions, challenges, and little rewards when they connected the dots. It felt less like a formal tour and more like spending the day with a wise, kind family friend who happens to have a teaching background and knows everything about Prague. Jan showed remarkable patience and insight in responding to children’s questions, balanced depth with humour, and made sure no one was left behind. He was also generous with practical help — offering to take family photos, finding great viewpoints, tailoring the route as we went, and helping us plan the rest of our stay. His food recommendations (and what to order!) were spot on. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was Jan sharing his own family’s experiences growing up during Soviet times. He did this with sensitivity and honesty, and it deeply resonated with both us and our kids. Prague City Adventures were also excellent — communication was fast and clear, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible when a flight delay forced a last-minute date change. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, and we couldn’t recommend Jan and Prague City Adventures more highly. A truly memorable day in a beautiful city.

Czech food & drink galore!
Kuba was a great tour guide, and this was an excellent way to learn about Czech culture and taste so many delicious Czech dishes! You will definitely not go hungry - there is so much food & drink included in your ticket price. Highly recommend!

The best Christmas tour in Prague full of love and Happiness
Our guide Misa was lovely and cheerful sharing her love for Praque and the Christmas spirit. She took us on the underground to 2 different Christmas markets , one was the peace Christmas market selling local produce, from there we walked to another one (can't remember the name were we had lovely mulled wine) Misa took us on the tram back to visit a church in Nove Mesto were we sang part of a Christmas carol. She then took us to the Vaclavske market were we ended a very enjoyable 3 hr tour.

We had a great time with Katy! We enjoyed hearing about different celebrations and local stories. She took us to several places we wouldn't have found on our own. We especially enjoyed the courtyard and hot drinks!

Great Taste of the home cooked Prague food and shared with fun
Recently I went on a Christmas tour in Prague and our guide set up a wonderful evening of the traditional food of Prague. We went to multiple restaurants and had and appetizers at one but they were more than appetizers they were just fabulous and went for a main course and several small bites plus Gelato The tour guide was very engaging and brought us through all kinds of short side streets of Prague and gave us a small tour as we went I would highly recommend this if you have a evening in Prague especially if you are a foody Thanks Carol from St Louis Mo USA

What a character is Kuba!
What we honestly enjoyed most about the walking food tour was our guide Kuba. He had a lot of information to share in a very enthusiastic and interesting manner. Even on a very cold night, Kuba always had a trick up his sleeve to keep us warm. The venues he took us too were lively and the food and beer were always plentiful. A fun and memorable event!

Beautiful but Prague has much more to see
It was a beautiful example of a 12th century town, but we only had 2 days in Prague and 1 of those days was spent at Cesky Kumlov. There was a lot of Prague we were not able to see as a result of not enough time.

Award-Winning Prague evening Old Town food and drink tour with George
George was a wonderful guide, easy for us English-speaking attendees to understand. He laid out the evening's itinerary, and stuck to it. We never felt rushed, the food was excellent, we stopped at four different places, sampling traditional open-faced sandwiches, goulash, different cheeses, stuffed dumplings, schnitzel, and ended with a delicious confection and hot chocolate.

Great day out in Prague
A very enjoyable day indeed with our welcoming and knowledgeable guide Mark. Our tour encompassed the sights of the old town, Jewish quarter, lesser town and Hrad and also included a tram ride and lovely lunch. He dealt with the cold, crowds and us in jovial fashion, always having an answer to our questions. From Wenceslas to the Hapsburgs to the fall of communism he certainly knew his stuff, terrific guide who I would certainly recommend.

The Prague beer and tapas tour was outstanding. This was a great experience even for my wife who doesn’t really love beer. She still had a blast. Nikola was great I couldn’t recommend her enough.

We really enjoyed seeing and tasting at unique spots. Our guide (Vojtech) was knowledgeable about the food and beer that we enjoyed but also, the history, culture and vibe of Prague.
