The Christmas market tour w Johanka was fabulous! A guide to keep you fully entertained for a few hours in the cold deserves a five star review. Johanka shared her knowledgeable about Czech holiday traditions and culture. She was charming, funny and herded our small group efficiently from market to market. We bypassed the main markets to visit the small local markets which were less crowded and more enjoyable to visit. The markets were unique and we had some free time to explore at each of them. Johanka pointed out traditional Czech items to purchase and supplied local snacks. I have been on many European niche tours over the years and I have moved Johanka to the top of my “favorite guides” list. If I could give her more stars I would.

We enjoyed wonderful tours with Katy while in Prague in early December. Some of us were born in Prague but even still we all learned more about history and, did it in a fun way with Katy. She clearly loves her city and loves sharing the history and sites. She's also very accommodating and is able to adjust to different groups from adults only to adults with children all the way to a focus on children. Highly recommend Prague City Adventures and ask for Katy!

Great Change of Pace - Tour offbeaten path and enjoy beer & tapas too!

We had a great experience on a tour with Vojta! We went to three unique locations and enjoyed seeing some of the area we had not experienced yet (a bit off the beaten path which we love). We experienced beer and tapas at each location. Vojta is very knowledgable about beer and the area too! After being on several tours with history and architecture, it was nice to chill and enjoy an evening of beers and tapas! We had thought we were going to take a tour in Pilsner, but decided on this due to timing and it worked out great! He was prompt and friendly and we really enjoyed the tour! Book it!

Outstanding food experience in Prague

The food and beer tour was one of the highlights of our Prague visit. Our guide, Guillaume, was exceptional! He was knowledgeable and passionate about Czech food and beer. The pace was comfortable as we learned about Czech brewing and food traditions as well as local dining customs. Each stop offered generous tastings of traditional foods and beer with wine available at two locations. This tour exceeded our expectations!

Exceptional Food and drink tour

A Truly Wholesome Christmas Experience

If this doesn’t get you into the Christmassy vibes, I don’t know what will! Experiencing this day with someone who’s a local, who can share family stories and Czech traditions, made it genuinely special. I loved getting to explore the local markets, not just the touristy ones. Honestly, I thought the smaller, more authentic markets were even better. The handcrafted items were beautiful, and chatting with the vendors was such a lovely touch. And the food and drinks? 10/10. Everything was so delicious! It wasn’t crazy busy either, which meant you could take your time, look around, and enjoy the atmosphere at your own pace. Such a magical and memorable day, highly recommend!

Perfect Day Out!

We took a day trip to Cesky Krumlov and had an amazing experience! Our guide, Johanka, was fantastic! Super funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She really added to the whole day with her stories and insights, and she was so accommodating and helpful throughout the trip. Cesky Krumlov itself is absolutely beautiful, truly like stepping into a fairytale. Wandering through the charming streets and enjoying the delicious local food made the day even more special. I highly recommend visiting!

One of the best food tours I've been on. Our host Jakob was entertaining, knowledgeable and super attentive, always making sure everyone had what they needed and were enjoying themselves. Our guide George was amazing. We went to 4 Christmas markets. We loved going to the smaller markets, theyre ones we wouldn't have gone to on our own, and we went to the larger markets. We enjoyed some traditional food/drinks. George told us about his family traditions.

Excellent trip not to be missed

George was an excellent guide and very well prepared. He told us about Christmas traditions unique to Prague and we tasted local Christmas food. The underground train and tram rides were a great experience and also visits to the churches. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to orientate themselves in Prague and learn about the traditions.
