We had a great time here with a large group. Kaleb looked after us and was very knowledgable and friendly. There are plenty of activities and the gift shop prices felt very reasonable. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed the PCC and opted for the Gateway package, which includes access to the six 'islands' as well as the Gateway Buffet, which is HUGE and so, so good and the day concludes with KA - The Breath of Life. This show is worthy of any Vegas production and runs about 85 minutes. A big plus is the drive from Honolulu to the PCC is drop-dead gorgeous.

Absolutnie wspaniałe miejsce! Centrum, które w bajkowy sposób przybliża dzieje, kulturę, tradycje wysp Polinezji. Piękne otoczenie :) Po południu prawdziwa uczta w gateway bufet. Na zakończenie wieczorny występ "Breath of life" - absolutnie magiczny! Zostanie w pamięci na długo. Warto :D

Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) was a fantastic and well-rounded experience, especially if you enjoy learning about culture through hands-on demonstrations. While Toa Luau had more of an intimate, ohana-style feel, PCC offers an impressive variety of demonstrations from Polynesian islands throughout the day, which was wonderful. Be sure to grab a program when you enter so you know the times and locations of the demonstrations you’re most interested in. The parade of boats is a must-see and happens first thing—don’t miss it. We also attended the “Breath of Life” evening show, which was very well done and a great way to end the day. We did not do the luau here since we had already experienced one at Toa Luau, but that worked out perfectly for us. There are plenty of food options at the Hukilau Marketplace, including casual spots and a sit-down restaurant, so it’s easy to find something that fits your schedule. One of our favorite moments was paddling a canoe. The stern paddler couldn’t believe how fast we were going—we even passed two other canoes going out and coming back, which made it extra fun.

OMG OMG OMG!!! Literally a FULL day of absolutely one of the best experiences you will receive in Hawaii. The information you will receive and the plethora of activities and treats all over are some of the best ever!! The entertainment, dances, and finale performance is the best culture experience you will receive! This luau is divine and gorgeous, truly top notch! We FULLY enjoyed our private tour guide Jace! He was wonderful and so professional, fun, polite, and attentive. Mahalo Jace! Everything from the entrance to the stores, food and dining option, performances, boat ride, waterfalls, restrooms, lockers, finale performance, you name it all...IT'S HERE! Dress comfy and don't rush the day. If you do the luau, you may want to change into something a little nicer (out of days clothes) but definitely not mandatory at all. You will learn so much and have a greater love, appreciation, and understanding of the Polynesian Culture. We highly recommend the supreme package (top package), it's worth every penny. Enjoy!

The PCC is run by the Church of Latter Day Saints and most (if not all) the volunteers there are students at Brigham Young University. The center showcases various traditions and cultural norms of the 5 polynesian islands: Hawaii, Fiji, Tonga, New Zealand and Tahiti. There are different passes available but each gives you 3 day access. It's hard to cover all of things on offer in one day, but I still felt that one day was enough for us, as we wanted to explore other aspects of the island. The center does feel sort of like an amusement park and I can see the appeal for large groups or families with young kids. Lots of things to see and do to keep folks entertained. There is a marketplace just outside the entrance with shops and restaurants, and some snack bars inside. If you opt for the pass with the buffet then dinner is covered. I wasn't a huge fan of the budget food - the salad options were mediocre, it was mostly meat and fish that I felt could have been better seasoned. There were 2 or 3 vegetables on offer. Dessert options were great! The volunteers were all enthusiastic and friendly, except for our bus driver on the way back who was not very pleasant. Overall I would recommend if you have the time during your trip, but the island itself has so much to see and explore that you wouldn't be missing out if you couldn't make it here.
