We visited the Polynesian Cultural Center and purchased the Super Ambassador package, which was a significant investment for our family. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed overall. Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, many of the outdoor village activities were cancelled — including the canoe rides, Tongan drumming, and several hands-on cultural experiences we were really looking forward to. Our guide did her best and was very kind, but with the weather, she could only take us to indoor presentations. We completely understand that weather is out of anyone’s control, but given how much of the experience depends on outdoor activities, we feel there should be a clearer contingency plan or partial refund option when a large portion of the village programming is unavailable. It honestly felt like the village portion of our ticket did not deliver what was advertised that day. The luau dinner was also disappointing. The buffet food was lukewarm at best and lacked flavor. For the price point, we expected higher quality and better execution. That said, the performers were absolutely fantastic. The talent, energy, and storytelling in the shows were impressive and clearly the highlight of the experience. The dedication of the student performers really shows in the evening production. One additional note: it was difficult to overlook the strong emphasis on the Mormon affiliation throughout the day — references to students earning money for college, missions after graduation, etc. While we respect the educational mission, it felt more prominent than we expected in what is marketed primarily as a cultural experience. Overall, we appreciate the effort of the staff and the talent of the performers, but for the cost of the Super Ambassador package, we expected a more complete experience and better accommodation when weather significantly impacts the majority of activities.

The night show is just AMAZING. You must see. By the way, this is the first place I found in Hawaii that didn’t charge me for a bag!🤣

So much fun, plan a whole day. We went to the evening show at end. Amazing, you learn about all the dances and each islands differences through the tour and then at the show you get to see it all.

입장료가 비싼 데 비해 전시나 설명은 부족하였다. 공연들 역시 처음에는 주목되었지만 점차 비슷한 레파토리로 흘러갔다. 대학생들을 자원봉사자로 써서 직원을 굴리는 것도 문제인 듯 하고, 카누 타고 수로를 이동하는 것만 좋았다.

일단 제미나이 추천 경로로 관람하면 가장 효율적으로 즐길 수 있습니다. 저는 패키지로 예약해서 저녁 뷔페를 어쩔 수 없이 먹었는데, 개인적으론 건너뛰고 다른 식당을 이용 하세요. 이것만 제외하곤 다 좋았어요..

A must do! All the performers are both professional and warm. I wish I had more time to spend there. So much to do! Stay for the buffet and night show-totally worth the $$$!

민속촌+게이트뷔페+HA 쇼. 이렇게 세트로 예약함. 음.. 민속촌은 나의 문화권이 달라서 그런지 다들 비슷비슷 느껴짐. 하지만 직원들은 열정적임. 주위에 먹으러 나가기도 애매한 곳이라 게이트뷔페를 예약했음. 음식은 솔직히 취향이 아님. 미국 가정식이 이런건가? 혼자 생각해봄. HA쇼. 마지막 15분 불꽃쇼는 볼만함. 나머지 1시간은.. 하와이에 왔기에 한번은 들러볼만 하지만, 일정이 바쁘다면 굳이 여기까지 와서 하루를 다 소비할 필요는 없어보임.

Our tour guide Kiki was amazing at telling us about all the different cultures and places. She was fun and interactive with everyone in our group. All the different shows and islands were very fun. The food at the buffet was also amazing along with thr performances that came during our dinner. The fire dancing show was spectacular as they did cool tricks and funny stuff during the show.

PCC자체가 워낙 넓은데다가 체험할 곳도 많아서 가이드투어를 신청할까 하다가, 우리 체력 되는대로 움직이자,,! 싶어서 쿤가이드님께 셀프투어 자료를 신청해 참고해다녔습니다~! 결과적으로는 대 만 족 ! 보내주신 영상에 있는 정보들을 미리 가볍게 보고 갔고, 자료들에 있는대로 움직이기 시작했어요. 카누 진수식?이 입구에서 가장 가까운 곳에서 진행되는데 그거 끝나고 나니 어디로 가야할지 모르겠었는데, 가이드님 자료보니 어디로 가라~고 나와있어서 그대로 갔고 체험하면 좋은 것들을 체크리스트처럼 보내주셔서 하나씩 도장깨기 하듯 구경했습니다! 결과적으로 빼먹은 것 없이 너무너무 만족스러운 시간을 보냈어요!
