The Polynesian Cultural Center wasn't as great as I remember it from twenty years ago. Don't get me wrong, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, but the Gateway buffet was like an immense Golden Corral, not the luau feast I remembered. It's still a great place for a visit with little kids, but the Breath of Ha show was disappointing, kind of like a high school musical with college kids. Maybe I'm just jaded from seeing the 'Auana show the night before.

What a great place! There is so much to do and see. Spending time in all of the islands takes more than one day. There are shows and activities for all ages and enough to keep everyone interested and engaged. The buffet is delicious with so many options. The night show was great. The cast members and staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and talented. They want to learn about you, make sure you find what you need and are grateful we are there supporting their education. It's amazing they are students with all of the effort it takes to do those performances.

Wanted to go here but I learned it’s run by the Mormon church and I refuse to support anything affiliated with them.

Must come and see the amazing day of shows , awesome food selection and the breath taking show of "Ha". 3 day pass helps you see all the exhibits. The staff is super friendly with aloha.

Great Cultural Experience!

Our experience there was magical, from start to finish. Beautifully done. Educational and fun. Possibly the highlight of our Hawai’i trip. Our tour guide, Nihei, was from Tahiti, and she was outstanding! We could not have been more impressed with her. She helped plan the day for us and took us right from activity to activity without wasting any time. We probably saw 2x as many things than if we went on our own. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Definitely go. We got there at 12:15 pm so we could see the 12:40 pm boat show (it’s only once per day) and stayed until 8:45 pm when the show ended. The 8 hours flew by! We loved to learn that about 80% of staff there are local college students and that 100% of admission prices goes toward scholarships for them. A recent Amazon steaming documentary even talks about how the cultural center impacts their lives for good and helps deeper their culture and traditions.

Gafa was the best tour guide! We had the best day learning and experiencing all the different cultures and activities. Definitely worth it. Gafa was very informative and helpful.

We have the most wonderful time here! Loved every moment especially loved all performances and our guide Nine was the best, she was so knowledgeable and incredibly kind and patient with out family. We cant wait to go again.

Always an amazing experience. Skip the buffet or the other eating and just eat in the market. Then go to show! Love this culture! Kids loved it!
