Amazing Views and a Fun, Knowledgeable Pilot (Thanks Robin!)
We had an absolutely incredible helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! The views were simply breathtaking—seeing the canyon from above gives you a whole new appreciation for its scale and beauty. A huge shoutout to our pilot, Robin, who made the experience even more special. He was a lovely man—friendly, professional, and very fun throughout the journey. He shared so many interesting facts along the way, which made the tour both exciting and informative. Everything felt well-organized and safe, and the whole experience was unforgettable from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting—definitely worth it!

Grand canyon is great, administration and staff not so
This is a challenging review to write, on one hand the Grand Canyon is amazing. The airplane was smooth and I had every confidence in the pilot and the shuttles around the canyon were quick and convenient and the canyon experience was great. However, the reason why I have scored it 3 and not a 5 is purely from my experience on the ground with the staff, the poor attitudes and customer service from the staff checking us in and how it put a significant dampener on our day. When we got out to boulder city airport we were informed that the backpacks we brought with us would not be allowed on the plane and we would have to leave them all behind and either carry our belongings or go to the gift shop to buy a suitable bag. They said we should have been advised of this when we contacted them to confirm however we obviously weren't informed as we turned up with backpacks. We checked the website prior to leaving and it said that backpacks couldn't be taken on the sky walk but they could be stored in the lockers there. No where does it say you can't even take them on the plane. So we ended up buying an over priced bag from the gift shop so we could take our things with us (ironically the bag we bought more or less the size as the backpack). We also aren't aware that we would be provided with a lunch whilst we were there (I note it is now written on the website but it wasn't on there when we booked and not on our confirmation) so we ended up wasting the food we brought with us as it couldn't be stored at an appropriate temperature to save for the next day. Further more, the tour is advertised as a 7hr door to door excursion, however for us it was 10hours. We almost missed our show in the evening due to this. This delay is because we had to wait over an hour after our plane landed to get transport back to vegas. Again this is something that isn't advertised, neither was this explained to us at the airport that the wait would be that long and it just made a long day, even longer. Moving forward, pappillon / grand canyon scenic airlines should really improve their customer service, set customer expectations earlier and also advertise that there would be a delay for over an hour to go back to the city as we waited for multiple other tours to return. This really did spoil what otherwise was a great day

Worth every penny.
Brilliant, great team, lovely pilots, amazing skipper. I'd never been to the GC before, when we went over the edge, I shed a tear of joy and awe. The whole family were blown away.

The whole experience was amazing. Tucker our helicopter pilot was very informative, answering all questions asked. He has a great sense of humour whilst remaining very professional at the same time. This was a first helicopter flight for my 2 sons which they loved, add to that a visit into the Grand Canyon, a Hoover Dam fly-by and returning over Fremont street and a flight down the strip was incredible. I would definitely recommend Papillon Helicopter tours.

Old bumpy planes with oily smell. Hope someone does safety inspections on these flights

A must do while in Vegas
This was an amazing experience. The pilot was very informative, polite, and friendly. The views from the helicopter were amazing. This was definitely a bucket list experience.
