No one came to pick us up at our hotel (as I've read in other reviews that this has happened to other people), even though the tour included pick-up. No one showed up or even tried to contact us. When booking the tour, they don't provide any contact information, except for their office number, which doesn't operate on weekends or before 8 am. After several complaints by email, I received a brief reply from the company saying that the pick-up was scheduled at another hotel (which is completely untrue, since Civitatis later confirmed that it was perfectly clear that the pick-up was at our hotel, and I had sent them a message the day before insisting on the pick-up location). I think they simply didn't have enough people booked and it wasn't worth it for them to run the trip with only two people, so they chose not to show up, ruining our day. We had an amazing day flying over the hoover dam and then landing in the grand canyon for a light lunch and a glass of bubbly. Our pilot Henry was fantastic, very chatty and an amazing pilot with a great sense of humour. Only negative was the day was over too quickly. This made my Vegas trip brilliant, thanks.

My husband and I had the most magical experience with our Papillon helicopter tour into the Grand Canyon. We decided on the Grand Celebration Tour and everything was wonderful, from the time we were picked up at our hotel until we returned. Landing in the Grand Canyon was something that is hard to put into words. There are few places you can go that have been untouched by man where you can just enjoy the pure beauty of this world. It was such a spiritual moment to be there in the Canyon and just enjoy the silence along with the astounding surroundings!! It truly was a chilling moment!! It was worth every penny and our pilot, Jimmy, was awesome! He was knowledgeable, funny and so personable. It was like taking a ride with an old friend!! My husband and I were both nervous, at first, but Jimmy quickly calmed our nerves and helped make the experience unforgettable!! We would definitely do this again!! If you ever get the chance, JUST DO IT!! The "high" from this experience lasted for days and it tops the list of things we will never, ever forget!!
