Product: From Bayeux: American D-Day Sites in Normandy Half-Day Tour

Valentin was an excellent tour guide and driver. He was very knowledgeable about Normandy, Dday, and the many battles through to the liberation of France. He had so much knowledge to share that sometimes he talked too much and I would have preferred to use the time to walk around the beaches and the monuments instead of standing and listening. He gave us very good advice for seeing the American Cemetery and honoring fallen paratrooper. Very memorable 🙏 experience.

Bonjour France

We did a total of 3 tours with Ophorus. In Bayeaux our group of 7 split up and two of our family members did the 8 hour DDay Tour with Matt, while the rest of us did the 4 hour DDay Tour with Pascal. These tours were both fantastic. Pascal and Matt were extremely knowledgeable, interactive, energetic, and they made the tours very meaningful to all of us. They each brought different perspectives and shared different facts/stories so it was fun for our group to compare at the end of the day. Our third tour was a Private Half Day Wine Tasting Tour for all 7 of us from Dijon with Valentin. Again, the knowledge that Valentin had about the region, wine, the vineyards was incredible. Valentin answered our questions and shared such interesting information. None of us had much knowledge about wine making and ratings, etc- - the tour and information he communicated to us was perfect. All of our drivers were safe drivers. They were on time. These tours did not disappoint!

Léa was a fantastic tour guide! Absolutely loved spending the morning with her as she guided us to a Chateau and through Saint Émilion. She went above and beyond, even making sure my wine bottle was secured in the car. The experience was one of the highlights of my trip to Bordeaux and I loved how she has games and things to do during the drive to and from (plus restaurant recommendations!) If you are on the fence, I highly recommend the tour - it was the perfect amount of adventure and got me back in time for a late lunch.

Tour to Mont Saint Michel with Juliette. Nice driver and guide, everything well organised and good explained.We enjoyed our trip, visited the abbey and the village, took a lot of photos, and have seen amazing landscapes. Very satisfied with the tour, we highly recommend for all ages!

What a great way to visit Bordeaux and go to the backcountry to see all the beautiful vineyards. We had an excellent tour guide with wealth of information. I thank him for that, we learned a lot, Visiting different wineries, and tasting the delicious wine along with new friends we met. We would highly recommend this tour, just the right amount of time.

Our guide Letitia was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire time. The 3 wineries chosen were really good and the wine makers there gave us a lovely tour and wine tasting. I learnt quite a lot about winemaking and had all my questions answered. We also stopped at some beautiful chateaux.

We took a small-group day tour to Cassis and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The day was well organized and included a beautiful boat ride along the stunning Calanques, followed by a wonderful wine tasting at a local vineyard. Our guide Violeta was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day both informative and fun. The scenery was breathtaking, and the combination of the boat excursion, charming village of Cassis, and excellent wines made for a memorable experience. We had a fantastic day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Provence.

Half Day Wine Tour

What a fantastic tour with two wine tastings. Truly enjoyed the intimate experience in Fixin and again in Vougeot. Our guide was so nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The vans are spotless and the AC works great! Easy to find the meeting spot in Dijon. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!

Well, where to start? Thierry was incredible, the tour was great. We covered so much area, Thierry was so knowledgeable, tons of history, information and explained how the borders of France & Germany changed several times. He has a great sense of humour and the patience of a saint! Thank you so much for providing us with such a terrific guide!
