An amazing day spent in Aix enjoying the sights, drinking different style wines from different chateaus. As luck would have it, it turned out to be just my friend and I on the tour, which ended out to be a huge advantage for us. Violette was an engaging and most personable guide, and knowledgeable about the wine and wineries in this region. Again, as it was just the two of us, Violette took the time to truly personalize the tour to our preferences.

Beautiful surroundings, poor audio

A pleasant short boat ride, beautiful surroundings. But the English translation did not fit with the altered tour, did not mention plenty of formations that the guide was explaining in French and didn't bother to switch to English for the rest of us (yes he knew English), so we missed out on a lot. Plus the guide made fun of english speakers, as evidenced by the pointed laughter in the direction of those wearing headphones.

The Lascaux complex is extraordinary. Whilst it is not the true cave the complex mixes immersive activity within the replica then a wonderful exhibition hall to take photos. This is more complete and extensive than Lascaux 2 which we visited in 1989

We had an amazing time on our wine tasting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We got to take MANY wines from the Alsace region. The villages we stopped at were stunning. It was like stepping into a story book.

Very organized and amazing experience. The villages are so beautiful and the very thorough guided visit to the castle was an extraordinary surprise. The wine tasting was just icing on the cake. You get so much from this day tour and I would do it all over again. But this wonderful experience wouldn't have been possible without the excellent guidance from Teri. His knowledge about the castle was unmatched and he knows so much about the Alsace history. He is funny, energetic and very kind. Hope our paths will cross again upon my return to this beautiful region.

We did a total of 3 tours with Ophorus. In Bayeaux our group of 7 split up and two of our family members did the 8 hour DDay Tour with Matt, while the rest of us did the 4 hour DDay Tour with Pascal. These tours were both fantastic. Pascal and Matt were extremely knowledgeable, interactive, energetic, and they made the tours very meaningful to all of us. They each brought different perspectives and shared different facts/stories so it was fun for our group to compare at the end of the day. Our third tour was a Private Half Day Wine Tasting Tour for all 7 of us from Dijon with Valentin. Again, the knowledge that Valentin had about the region, wine, the vineyards was incredible. Valentin answered our questions and shared such interesting information. None of us had much knowledge about wine making and ratings, etc- - the tour and information he communicated to us was perfect. All of our drivers were safe drivers. They were on time. These tours did not disappoint!

Vino in Vouvray

Great way to taste local wines by families who have been making wine for generations. The van was comfy and the guide was pleasant. The only issue is that each tasting was very small and we only tasted a few wines at each vineyard. I would have expected more for the price of the tour. It was quiet expensive.
