This was a great tour! It is all day and you go to all the American landing spots. I can’t imagine how long it would take if you were able to stop at each museum along with it. But they time everything out great and we were able to see the lowering of the flag at the cemetery.

This was probably the BEST tour we’ve ever taken! Matt was so knowledgeable! He had the best stories and he explained everything clearly. My husband is a professor of history, and usually knows more than our guides. Not this time…he actually learned some things that he will now incorporate into his lessons. If we could rate higher than a 5 star, we would. If you’re undecided about booking this tour, don’t be. Reserve it now!!! Reasonable amount of info provided while driving. Once at sight it was explore for yourself. Tour of Beynac did not happen because of time limits, walk down from castle was inappropriate given age/physical condition of all in party.

Our tour was exceptional!! The cemetery was one of the most impactful experiences we have ever had. Looking back, all three locations were. Our tour guide Victor was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating. His love for his country, his hometown and surrounding area of Normandy coupled with his stories and the history of that time made for an unforgettable afternoon. Even the weather was beautiful!!!

I enjoyed the full-day tour led by guide Maggie. She combined broad perspectives of WW2 history with site-specific details of the Normandy invasion, including heroic stories of individual soldiers. Maggie's communication skills were excellent, and she kept calm while dealing with strong wind and rain showers. I highly recommend this tour!

🍷 Brilliant half-day on Bordeaux’s Right Bank!

Seven men in our prime years (mid-50s and still going strong) set off for a fun and insightful trip to the Right Bank – with a lovely wine tasting at Château Bellevue and a walk through charming Saint-Émilion. A great mix of laughs, learning, and local flavour – made unforgettable by our knowledgeable, entertaining, and wonderfully patient driver and guide, Rudolphe. 🚐😄

A good visit but ....

Enjoyed Lascaux IV. The tour of the museum was informative. Our tour of an actual cave was cancelled, sadly. Had we known that would happen, we'd might have preferred seeing Lascaux II. La Roque Saint-Christophe was the substitute, and was interesting. But it was disappointing to lose the actual cave experience.
