Yesterday my wife and I had the adventure of a lifetime! We applaud XO Adventure and our courteous and knowledgeable tour guide, Dan. From the first moment we met Dan, until the last minute of a full moon, clear sky, star gazing evening, he crafted a day we will never forget. My family and I took two tours with My XO Adventures, and both were great! Both tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We did one full day tour of all the must see places, and a night tour of the Badlands. These tours allowed us to see, and learn, so much!

The XO people were great! I scheduled incorrectly and called them on the date I thought I had scheduled. They managed to send Dan to us even though it was the wrong date! Great service! Dan was an awesome guide and gave us a night to remember.

We took a 1/2 day trip with Daniel to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and Custer State Park. He was so very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very attentive to our needs and what we wanted for this tour. We highly recommend this tour company and Daniel as your tour guide.

Had an absolutely memorable experience with XO adventures. I have never had a tour manager call me and make sure things were lined up. She called various times and made sure we were comfortable. She was sold out on Saturday but made sure we could go the day we arrived. The badlands were not to be missed. Dan was excellent and took us to all the sites. He even took some great photos with his camera and took the time to go through them and send to us later. Jsut top notch. You can’t go wrong with XO Adventures.

Choosing to do the Mt Rushmore and Black Hills tour with My XO adventures was a great decision. We would never have covered these many places so effortlessly if we had to do it on our own. Logan, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He enriched us with a lot of info about all the points of interest and was always attentive to our needs. I also want to thank Daniel for making the booking process easy and for the great communication all throughout. Amy recommended to stay in Rapid City and that was a great input too.Thanks to My XO adventures!

We recently completed a trip to South Dakota and had the opportunity to take two amazing tours with XO tours. Aimee was so helpful in getting the tours, arranged and communicating details to our group. She took the time to return my call and answer my questions. She was truly inspiring talking about her love of South Dakota. Our first tour was with Logan and we visited Mount Rushmore the crazy horse memorial the Needles Highway and Custer State Park. Logan was informative and knowledgeable about wildlife and took the time to point things out that we would have surely missed if we had not been touring with him. We saw more bison (and their red dog babies) Then we have ever seen in any other national or state park. Our second tour was with Daniel and was a sunset tour of the Badlands. Daniel‘s familiarity with the park and getting us to see wildlife at every turn, was impressive. Our highlight here was watching a group of mountain goats navigate the side of a mountain. We could have watched them for hours. It was so fun to root for them and their babies. Overall, it was great To experience the parks without having to drive and with knowledgeable and informative guides. My favorite part was that they took pictures and put them into a Google photos album so that we could access them and download them. Thanks to Aimee, Logan and Daniel for this amazing trip!

Our guide Dan was wonderful. He not only took time to answer any questions, but show so many different landscapes. He also as an added bonus took so many pictures for us and emailed the best ones to us.

Kellie was an excellent guide, and her knowledge of the area and of the geology, plant and animal life was superior. We would never have learned so much or had such a great experience on our own! We did the Badlands Sunset Tour with Logan and cannot say enough about what an amazing place the Badlands were as well as how knowledgeable Logan was, not only about the Badlands itself and the history, but abut the wildlife. Logan is a biologist and has VERY deep knowledge about all the Badlands critters. We stopped and took so many pictures and saw so many wildlife. The knowledge and memories we left with are once in a lifetime!

Thanks for the personal XO tour of the Badlands in early June 2025, including an early visit to the massive Wall Drug store, and a view of the town of Scenic on our way back to town. Retired Dan, our Guide & Photographer, was very informative and paused for good views of the ranches we passed through and especially the massive ‘Bad’ landscape & its local critters – Bison, Prairie Dogs, Bighorn Sheep & various Birds. Thanks Dan! we enjoyed our tour and the photographs you provided!

My group decided hands down that My XO Adventures was the best tour experience we could have ever had. Their attention to our interests and comfort was unparalleled. Their ability to adjust our itinerary on the fly based on weather allowed us to be at the right place at exactly the right time. It goes without staying that they are knowledgeable on so many topics but what was so appreciated was that the commentary was interactive and we weren’t just lectured. Your effort to go out of your way to make sure we were able to see the wide variety of beautiful creatures from the delicate blue bird, burrowing owl, prairie dog to the majestic Buffalo that call South Dakota their home and your obvious love and reverence for them was both touching and admirable. We can't thank you enough. We will recommend XO Adventures to everyone we know and anyone interested in the Very Best Tour available. We honestly just wanted to relax and just enjoy the stunning beauty of the magnificent Mt. Rushmore and Badlands, you gave us so much more. I can't forget to give Aimee a shout-out, if not for her easygoing, friendly voice I would not have looked so hard to reconnect with her after I was forced to cancel this trip two years ago. Logan did a great job! He was kind & courteous! Very knowledgeable about the wildlife. Cloud cover hindered our star gazing experience but Logan helped us make the best of it! We are sure if we had drove through the bad lands ourselves we would not have seen all the hidden places Logan brought to life! Be blessed sir Logan because you are a blessing!
