What a great experience these tours were! My husband and I spent 2 full days touring with Daniel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Daniel is so knowledgeable about the Badlands and Black Hills’ history, and knew all the great vantage points for photos and animal sightings. It was so nice to be able to just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous views! Daniel and Amiee thought of every detail, and we are so thankful to have found them. We look forward to touring with them again!

Daniel and Aimee are absolutely the best hosts/guides! They both went above and beyond to ensure our group had the most spectacular adventures. We truly appreciated everything they did for us. From our first contact with My XO Adventures with Aimee to the very last day of our 4 day tour drop off, one word stands out..”AWESOME”! Daniel, Logan and Aimee went above and beyond their duties to provide us with the ultimate experiences. Daniel’s knowledge of the Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Crazy Horse and all the really quaint towns along the way was so interesting. The wild life tour of the Badlands, Custer State park and the Wind Cave with biologist Logan was filled with so much wild life, birds and beauty. He is so knowledgeable of every living creature in those areas and his love and enthusiasm for them is contagious. They strive for professionalism in all they do. Aimee is so sweet and accommodating in ordering your food and taking care of all the little extras. The vehicles are cleaned immaculately every night and loaded up with all the food and supplies for the day. They totally personalize the tours to your interests. They know all the little hidden gems that the large tour groups do not have the time or know how. We would highly recommend them over any group that we have ever toured with.

We truly enjoyed our adventures in the Black Hills and the Badlands. Mt Rushmore and beautiful sunsets were at the top of the list. The knowledge and experience of Daniel and Logan was obvious. We visited the places you should visit and learned much about the history and area development. They were sensitive to the wildlife and we have many once in a lifetime photos. We highly recommend My XO Adventures.

Looking for a tour that goes above & beyond? Will take you to places you didn’t even realize you needed to see?! Then XO Adventures for the win! Cannot give enough stars to Daniel for making our trip to South Dakota the most memorable - tailoring each tour to our interests & making sure that we experienced all we could & then some in the time we had available - why look/book with anyone else?!

Daniel picked us up at our place of stay and took us on a magical ride throughout the Black Hills and Badlands. Wonderful knowledge and history of the locations. I highly recommend the Badlands at the Golden hour. Aimee recommended that tour and WOW! Nothing I could write would do it justice. Daniel was the best. We came in the off season and it seemed we had the hills to ourselves. We saw so many things going the back roads with Daniel that we may never would have seen had we driven. The best tour we have ever taken.

Must-go tour in South Dakota! Dan was very professional about the Badlands area including info that you would never see on the websites. He is also a great and dedicated photographer, expert in filming you and the stars/ milkyway. I hope to have a tour again with Dan with my kids in the future

We had an absolutely amazing experience with our vacation guide, My XO Adventures Daniel, during our trip to South Dakota! From Mount Rushmore to Devils tower, and the Badlands, every moment was unforgettable. Daniel provided superb customer service and was incredibly knowledgeable about the areas. Not only did he take us to the places we wanted to see, but he also surprised us with many hidden gems along the way. Instead of sticking to the expressways, he took us through scenic backroads, giving us the chance to witness breathtaking natural sights we would have otherwise missed. There was never a dull moment, Daniel was super easy to talk to, incredibly friendly, and made sure we were always comfortable. He even brought water, coffee and snacks, going above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. I can't say enough great things about Daniel and how unforgettable he made our vacation! If I could give him a 10 star I would! If you're looking for a top-notch guide in South Dakota, I highly recommend “My XO Adventures” 100%!!

If you’re considering a trip to South Dakota, stop looking around and book with My XO Adventures. Daniel was our tour guide —he is truly one of a kind. Our tour took us through some of the most breathtaking locations, including Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and so many hidden gems we never would have known about without him. We also went to Wyoming and saw Devils tower and beautiful frozen waterfalls. But what made this trip amazing wasn’t just the scenery, it was Daniel himself. From the moment we started, it was clear that Daniel goes above and beyond for his guests. He thought of everything—water, coffee, snacks, chargers, binoculars—literally everything we could have needed. He is like a walking encyclopedia, sharing history, stories, and fascinating details that made each location come alive. We never felt rushed; instead, he took his time to make sure the experience was all about us. One of the most memorable highlights was something completely unplanned—stargazing in the Badlands. Living near a city, I never get to see the stars like that. But out there, I saw shooting stars, the Milky Way, and even satellites. It was absolutely magical, and it wouldn’t have happened without Daniel. He even brought his camera and took stunning photos, which he sent to us at the end of the day—such an amazing touch! This wasn’t just a vacation—Daniel said something that really stuck to me, it was a reminder to slow down and reconnect with life and nature (I have a high stress career and always looking to disconnect). The beauty of South Dakota was unforgettable, but without Daniel, we wouldn’t have enjoyed it nearly as much as we did. If you’re on the fence about booking with My XO Adventures, just do it, It’s SO worth it, and you’ll walk away with memories that will last a lifetime. Unforgettable, Personalized Tours – A Must-Do in the Black Hills! My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with My XO Adventures! We did back-to-back tours, and both were nothing short of amazing. On the first day, Daniel, the owner, took us on the Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse & Custer State Park Tour. He is incredibly personable and funny—within minutes, he felt like an old friend. Some of the tour highlights included Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park & Wildlife Loop Road, Needles Eye Tunnel, and Sylvan Lake. We saw so many animals along the way, and Daniel kept us entertained with his humor and deep knowledge of the area. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with snacks—a thoughtful touch. On the second day, we did the Badlands Sunset, Wildlife, and Amazing Night Sky Adventure with Dan (not to be confused with Daniel). Once again, we were blown away! We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, and Dan captured breathtaking photos with his professional camera, which he generously shared with us. He was so polite, knowledgeable, and passionate about the region—it made the experience even more special. A huge shoutout to Daniel's mother, Amiee, who handled our booking. She was incredibly polite, sweet, and quick to respond to our questions, making the process seamless from start to finish. If you’re considering a tour, book with My XO Adventures—you won’t regret it! This is a small, independently owned company that truly cares about providing a personal, high-quality experience. Daniel was an excellent guide. We contacted him about a tour in the Black Hills/Rapid City Area, and he put together a custom day trip that brought us to see a lot of the key sites - Black Hills, Horseshoe Lake, Needles Highway, Mammoth Site, and Badlands at sunset. He also took great photos along the way and was very knowledgable about the area's history. His vehicle was clean and equipped with extra supplies and snacks if needed. Highly recommend!
