We had an amazing white water rafting experience! Our guide Dylan was the absolute best — knowledgeable, funny, and made everyone feel safe and confident on the water. The rapids were thrilling, the scenery was beautiful, and Dylan’s energy made the whole trip unforgettable. Highly recommend.

Mesa Verde and the Cliff Palace were definitely bucket list experiences. Our guide, Jay, was phenomenal. He was so interesting and knowledgeable about the site, culture of the tribes, and history of the region. He was also very fun and personable. I highly recommend this tour!

This was my first time ever white water rafting. We went with zuzu, which was amazing. She made us feel welcome and we had a great time. We did the lower animas half day trip.

Our first time rafting as a family while in Durango as a family. Zuzu was absolutely amazing. She puts our minds at ease for the ones that were kind of nervous. We had the best time and can't wait to come back next time and request Zuzu as our guide. By the end of the day she felt like part of the family. Highly recommend

We just got back from a 4 day Gates of Lodore trip. Jordan, Ben, Josie and crew were out of this world! The first day of the trip was our 35th wedding anniversary and they supported us with our vow renewal ceremony and helped to make it a very special night! Beautiful river, beautiful National Monument, beautiful guides, great food and campsites! We wish we had more than 5 stars to give!! Thanks Mild to Wild Crew for making wonderful lifelong memories for our family!

A perfect day!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed our conversations with her. She showed us many amazing vistas and sites where we took terrific photos. Her recommendations for lunch at El Bandito and of a local jewelry store were much appreciated.

Very relaxing trip. The views were amazing! Our guide was very knowledgeable. Plus shared some of his Native American life. Very interesting!

1/2 day Animas Raft Trip
We knew going in the Lower Animas was super tame, but we had an absolute BLAST! All of the guides/staff were so nice and helpful. Our raft guide Dillan was the BEST! Highly recommend!

It was great!
My wife and I went White Water Rafting for her 60th birthday. We had never been rafting before and signed up for the Upper Animas trip which has the class 4 and 5 rapids. (We went in July so the water level was not as high as it is in June.). We were a little nervous about the trip but our concerns were quickly dispelled. They gave us an orientation which taught us how to paddle and maneuver around in the boat to prepare us for possible mishaps. They also had us actually swim through some rapids for more practice. They took the orientation seriously and prepared us well. The actual trip went off without a single issue. The train took us through the breathtaking San Juan National forest and dropped us off at Needleton. We pulled the gear off the train and set float on the Animas. It was spectacular. Kip and Trey were the guides in the two boats. We were with Trey. Both boats in our party made it approximately 10 miles down the Animas without a single incident. Both guides handled the rafts with expert precision. We stopped on the journey and had a nice lunch and break where the Animas merges with Cascade creek. It was a beautiful setting. We finished up and caught the train back to Rockwood where our adventure began. We could not have been happier with our decision to spend our vacation with Mild to Wild.

Fun Jeep Tour!
Mild to Wild half day jeep tour was such a great experience!! Myles was our guide and he was great!! Very knowledgeable about the area, landmarks, plants/flowers and wildlife, he was able to answer any questions anyone in our group had. He offered to take pictures for e and my family, which just made the experience even better. He even took great care of me when I felt motion sick in the back of the jeep going back down the mountain. He was very caring and attentive. Overall a great experience and would book again! What a fantastic time! Car was an excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Our group consisted of teens to seniors and we all enjoyed ourselves! Great time! Ask for Cat!

Colorado river in July
From start to end, it was a great experience. Claudia was our guide she was fantastic. She pointed out various viewpoints, historical sites, and wildlife. She made sure everyone had a great time. The scenery was spectacular as we rafted down the river

Trey was awesome. Young lady inside helped us with the extras we wanted. Everyone was so friendly! The rafting was so fun and relaxing at the same time. Would go again!
