We took our family of six (kids ages 6-12) on the all-day raft trip while staying in Moab. Our guide was Miles, and he made it so fun for our group. He was easy to talk to and shared lots of interesting info on our (BEAUTIFUL) surroundings. He was also great with the kids! He let my son “guide” the boat during some calm parts of the float. Made my sons day! We opted to get a water gun for the day and it made for some hilarious and friendly water wars with the other rafts. The scenery was breathtaking. I worried that an all day trip would be too long in the sun for my family, being 100 degrees+ outside- but I am SO GLAD we opted for the all day trip. Our kids wanted to keep going longer- you can hop in and out of the raft to cool down, the food was great, and the rapids kept it super fun. The whole day was just fantastic and an amazing family memory for sure. We hope to someday do a multi-day trip with this company: thanks Mild2Wild and the best guide, Miles!

Great Experience for Beginner or Novice River Rafters
Sam was a GREAT guide and raft master. I'm sure the other guides were, too. We had plenty of time on the water. This is a great adventure for beginner or novice river rafters. No death-defying rapids, but plenty of thrills and splashes.

We did this last year for the first time and loved it! This time we booked the morning as we wanted faster water. We received a text last night saying the water was down and did we want to go? ( 4 of us). We talked it over and finally decided to continue. We had such a great time!! Corbin and Julian were amazing raft guides and so much fun as well! They were very safe, respectful and we are so happy we went!!!! I highly recommend Mild to Wild Rafting! You will not regret it and love it!

Durango Train and Silverton Jeep Tour - Highly Recommend!
This was our first trip to Durango and we booked several tours through Mild to Wild after reading reviews of the company and packages online. We arrived in Durango and our first tour was the Durango Train and Silverton Jeep Tour. The company provided straight forward directions so check-in was a breeze. Our tour guide, Cat, provided a warm atmosphere so our family bonded easily with the other family in our tour group. Cat provided everything and more that you could want from a guide - historic information about the area, games on the drive up, and a personalized jeep tour based on our interests (we opted for waterfalls, alpine lakes, old mines). She was also kind enough to take photos of our whole family. I loved learning about her and appreciated the personal touch she added to our trip. She dropped us off in Silverton with the best recommendations for lunch which we took advantage of. We booked prime seats on the Silverton train based on the company’s recommendations. We spent the last three hours of the day relaxing in the open car train with to die for views before returning to Durango. I highly recommend booking this tour (ask for Cat!), we were able to maximize our vacation time and minimize our stress and really just enjoy our family.

Amazing experience!
Highly recommend this Mild2Wild trip for families with kids of all ages! We booked this all day rafting trip for our family with 4 kids aged 6-12. It was perfect- we rafted for a couple hours, then went to shore for a yummy sack lunch (great sandwiches, chips, an apple and a cookie) and then went back out to raft for a couple more hours. The water was low, so there was lots of floating with some fun class 1&2 rapids to keep it exciting. We opted to rent a water gun also- our youngest kept starting water wars with the other boats which was a lot of fun. We didn’t know the other rafters but everyone was good natured about the water fights! Our guide, Miles, was fantastic. He was pleasant to talk with and great with the kids. He told us lots of interesting facts about the scenery around us (which was breathtaking) and let our kids use the guide oars for a while also. We hopped in and out of the raft to cool off and enjoyed floating in our PFD’s. The water temp was so refreshing on the hot day! We saw mountain goats on the shore and even a doe crossing during our lunch break. I was a little worried this trip would be too long for our family- but my mind is changed after completing the trip. Now I’m looking forward to the day we can do a more challenging multi-day trip! Highly recommend this company and you can’t beat the Moab scenery!

Nice easy float down the Animas river. Enjoyable scenery warm temps in July and cool water. Great trip for the family and first timers. You get the feel of river navigation on a raft and will be ready to step it up next trip. Feeling adventurous. Step it up to the next level

Great rafting experience down the Colorado! Mild to Wild did a great job leading this tour - they have it down to an exact science. We saw tons of wildlife, got to jump from the raft to swim in the river, and learned a lot from our guide along the way. Claudia, the guide who led our raft, was very welcoming and knowledgeable - she is really good at her job!
