We did a fabulous rafting trip down the Colorado River with Avery. She has a wealth of knowledge about the area and was such a fun and skilled guide for our trip down the river. We had so much fun floating, swimming, and navigating several small rapids — would do another trip with Avery again in a heartbeat! Thanks again, Avery and Mild to Wild crew!

Had absolutely the best trip ever with Payton, Ryan, and Ben! The combined knowledge, charisma and energy that they brought on our trip is unmatched. Payton is the best TL I've ever met and we were so happy to have her as our fearless leader! She has a deep knowledge of the canyon, shared so many stories with us, and knows that river better than I know myself. She was supported by the most wonderful crew in the world - Ben and Ryan helped our large group of various experience levels feel safe and comfortable on the river. Would do this trip over and over again if I could!

The days spent in Cataract Canyon with guides Payton, Ben, and Ryan were absolutely incredible - and I know my whole group of friends will cherish the sweet & sunny memories forever. We went as a bachelorette group to celebrate my upcoming wedding and could not possibly have had a better experience. Payton was the best trip leader I've ever met and gotten the chance to paddle with! My group loved her warm & welcoming demeaner, learned from her genuine love of nature & stewardship, and had absolute respect for experience and professionalism. Payton, Ben, and Ryan each brought their own magic that made our trip safe and truly joyful.

The folks at Mild to Wild are amazing! Dakota, who helped us with our reservation, was wonderful and knowledgeable. All the guides on the bus made the trips to the put in and take out points fun. Our guide, Taz, was awesome! She guided the boat perfectly, so we had a great experience. She shared her knowledge of the landscape and fauna making the trip fun and interesting. She’s an awesome rafting guide!

Very enjoyable rafting experience! Dillon was an excellent tour guide who was both entertaining and very informative. All safety guidelines were clearly explained. Dillon also did a great job making the riders paddle together. Highly recommend!

Had the best time on a bachelorette trip with Payton, Ryan, and Ben as guides! They made sure we were safe, fed, and went above and beyond to make sure this was the BEST trip of our lives! If I could do this exact trip again I would 100x over. They had so many games and knowledge on the river and were just really efficient and supportive for a great time. We had a lovely time on the Colorado with the Mild to Wild Rafting group. Irving was our guide, and he did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Awesome Gates of Ladore 4-day Guided Rafting Trip
The rafting guides were great. Very friendly and accommodating to children. We had excellent food, and the scenery along the river was very beautiful. The river rapids were a lot of fun too.

Level 1/2
The trip was fun and our guide, Avery, was great. We had a couple of small kids so the trip was a level 1/2 and there were hardly any rapids. Once you get on the river it’s only 1.5-2 hours worth of float time, with travel time taking up the rest of the booking time. I would suggest if you want more action, plan a higher level but all in all, everyone had a great time and the views were beautiful. The guide was also very informative, helpful and engaging with our group. Fun times!
