We took the 1/2 day AM rafting trip, we had a blast our guide Tom was fantastic he pointed out all of the landmarks, he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was exciting and friendly and made sure we had a great experience.

What a fantastic experience, highly recommend taking a trip with Mild to Wild!

This was a last-minute decision for me and my husband as we were in Salt Lake City for the week and made the trip down to Moab just for this adventure. It was so worth the drive and to see such beautiful landscapes along the was pretty impressive too! Our guide and the staff were fantastic too and we will definitely be back!!

2nd time rafting with Mild to Wild. Great Guides. Boat Captains were fun and knowledgeable. Equipment was good including the wetsuits that were provided. They did great sending text with address links and traffic updates. Clear creek River was down hill fast and it was Fun11

Mesa Verde tour

Awesome Rafting Experience!

If you are in Moab, definitely book a Colorado River rafting trip with Mild & Wild! The guides are awesome and make the trip so fun. They are careful to make sure all rafters understand all safety rules and are extremely skilled in guiding the rafts. Our guide, Emily, was wonderful and was very informative in telling us about the river and surrounding landscape~which is gorgeous! The guides take care of everything and all you have to do is relax and have fun!

Wasted time and money

Late leaving due to waiting on other parties to arrive. The manager was getting them on a later tour. Cat, the guide, played movie/music trivia on the way out of the park. It’s scary. No need to be distracted. High heights, no guard rails. I felt rushed. Meanwhile, we stopped 4 different times for her to go to the bathroom. I thought this would be a Jeep tour. I would’ve have booked a 15 passenger van tour.

Our family had an absolutely incredible time on our Mild to Wild rafting trip on the Lower Animas River in Durango, and that’s all thanks to our outstanding guide, Brode. From start to finish, he made the entire experience seamless, safe, and packed with fun. His knowledge of the river, clear communication, and laid-back confidence really stood out. Brode kept the energy up the whole time with a great sense of humor and an easygoing vibe that made the trip unforgettable. He handled everything with professionalism and skill, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does — which made it even more enjoyable for us. We also want to give a big shout out to the entire Mild to Wild team — from check-in to gear prep to the shuttle crew, everyone was friendly, organized, and clearly working hard to make the experience great for all. We’re truly grateful for the awesome memories and can’t say enough good things about Brode. He’s a fantastic guide and a real asset to the Mild to Wild team. If you’re planning a rafting trip on the Lower Animas, request Brode — you’ll have an awesome time!

Five Stars for the Mild to Wild Gates of Lodore 3-day trip

I would sign up for this experience again in a heartbeat! The Mild to Wild Gates of Lodore 3-day trip was phenomenal - dedicated, hard-working, supportive, fun guides, beautiful landscapes, scrumptious food (for this vegetarian) and rafting challenges just right for someone at my level of experience (two other short whitewater trips, no solo camping prior). I highly recommend Mild to Wild excursions. The team was very communicative and provided lots of information in different formats to help a first-time, multi-day rafter. If you have any hesitation in trying something like this, my advice is - GO FOR IT!

Lazy afternoon

Our guide’s name was Devon and she did an excellent job of providing a blend of local history, humor and keeping everyone safe. We did a mild raft trip and that provided a relaxing afternoon on the river. We saw an eagle in her nest and several blue herons.

Super chill and fun.

Fun and beautiful ride down the Colorado River. Very thorough safety briefing followed by a bus journey to where we’d begin our adventure. Stunning scenery along the way. The rapids weren’t very rapid but it was still fun and incredibly relaxing - kind of like our guides - we had a mix of chill and entertaining. A really excellent way to enjoy some epic views.

First time rafters with kids

This was an excellent first time rafting experience for my two kids!! The company and guides were excellent and answered any questions you had about water temperature, how to have kids prepped (wet suit or not) and really got the kids involved in rafting! We also had two water blasters on our raft so that was fun to splash our fellow rafters! There was another boat on our tour and he was accommodating to his rafters by letting them jump off rocks etc as we all went down the river! Just an example of how the different guides suited the trip to their individual raft. All in all great company, great guides. Sammy was our guide and she was really nice and encouraging to our raft of mainly first timers! The trip consisted of one really fun rapid and several smaller ones that were also fun. There was one spot we were able to get out and swim which was fun. Even though the water was really really cold it felt good in the sun. I had two kids age 10 and we did not do wetsuits and we were fine with the water temperature.

Perfect family adventure

This was the perfect first white water rafting trip to do with our kids. The rapids were big enough to be fun but not too scary for our littlest one. It was a beautiful ride and our guide, Sammy K. skillfully guided us through each rapid and rock garden. We all had a great time!

The perfect group trip!

Peyton, Ryan, and Ben (and Owen) were the best guides we could have ever hoped for on our 4 day rafting trip down the Colorado River. They did a fantastic job making sure we were having fun, keeping us safe, staying well fed and hydrated. We didn't stop laughing for 4 days because we had nothing to worry about, and I can't think of a single thing that could have made our trip better! They went above and beyond in every way possible, and we were so sad to have to leave them when the trip was over.
