If I could give 6 stars, I would. Captain Rob, Lionel and Ethan were amazing guides and very kind. We were able to snorkel off of the boat and Lionel took it upon himself to show me how to do it as I never had before! Mahalo.

We couldn’t have had a better experience! The captain and crew made us feel like family. They were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They shared the culture, history and traditions as we moved along the coast. The boat was just the right size for the experience we wanted and small enough to get into the sea caves, which was amazing!! The snorkeling was a highlight! We will definitely choose Makana next time we visit this beautiful island .

Great trip along Napali coast - took us into caves and explained history of the formations we saw; stopped to see a pod of dolphins swimming beside the boat as well as saw a few whales; we stopped for lunch and snorkeling in a beautiful spot. It was a great trip - highly recommend - staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable ⭐️⭐️

Great tour, great team running the boat. They kept things fun and had my kids laughing the whole time. We felt very safe even on those gnarly ocean swells!

What a fantastic day! The boat and the crew were top notch..so professional and FUN! This tour is so spectacular. we saw whales dolphins turtles goats and seals! the scenery magnificent and Capt Rob got us all the way in the sea caves! Beautiful and worth every cent

Great crew and a wonderful boat! We had time to see the coast and snorkel (water so clear you could clearly see the fish and turtles in the water from the boat!). Saw pods of dolphins close up, whales in the distance.. Magical day! The sandwiches were tasty and just enough when you consider you're riding on a bumpy ocean! Highly recommend!

Best part of my entire trip to Kauai. The views of the coastline are stunning and we got to see dolphins, whales, and turtles. Boat ride was super fun and Sean and Lionel were amazing!! Best two guys to do the tour, they kept it very fun and make you feel very safe too.

Great crew. Well planned and well executed team. Took us as close as possible to all the lava tubes, sea caves and Water falls. We encountered Dolphins 🐬. The ride was exciting and the views were phenomenal. Definately recommend Makana Charters. Ones in a lifetime experience for Na’ Pali coast Huge thanks to Michael, Jasmine and Lionel

The tour was great and so was the crew. They were very helpful when I get seasick. Definitely take motion sickness medication but the view is worth it.
