Such a great experience! The crew was amazing. We saw turtles and tons of fish during our snorkeling stop. We even heard whale vocalizations underwater! Then the crew took us to a known whale watching spot and we got to see a calf, a mother, and even a couple full breaches. Just unreal, highly recommended!

We had reservations to go on a Napali coast tour and received notification 2 hours before we were supposed to be there that they cancelled our tour. They had sent email a couple hours prior to that (4 hours before the tour) but we had not been watching our email or texts as were were on the beach. We had planned our whole day around going on the Nāpali coast tour THAT DAY and had already taken Dramamine and were in the way to their location. We were told that they were cancelling because they didn’t have enough people registered to make enough money for them. They said that they didn’t cancel earlier because they were trying to find other people. Luckily, we were able to book on Blue Dolphin tour and they were wonderful! So if you don’t want to risk being cancelled at the last minute don’t use this company!!!

Love love love this tour!!! We went in the morning with Capt Rob, Lionel, and Ethan along the NaPali coast. Captain hit the huge waves at the perfect angle to keep the ride smooth. He also backed into a cave with exit thru a waterfall. Simply amazing. You could not choose a better tour!

The captain, Captain Rob, knew his stuff. How to maneuver the waves and caves. Lionel and Ethan were infomative and fun to be with. Five stars in my book.

What an amazing day we had on this boat tour. Shawn (the captain) and his crew Kaiao and Charlie definitely made our trip more memorable. Super friendly, and lots of aloha spirit. Kaiao surprised me when he jumped on the microphone with such a smooth and gentle voice, reminded me of a radio personality. Shawn of course was very thorough in safety and it was amazing to have a native Hawaiian as a captain who’s knowledgeable about the area. Charlie was such a pleasure to converse with and she made us feel like family. They went all out to make our trip enjoyable and they succeeded. I look forward to my next trip to Hawaii, I will definitely be back. Thanks for the best hospitality.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! The crew was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, fun and kind. The boat ride was an adventure with stunning views of the NaPali coast. We saw dolphins and whales as a bonus and are so glad we made this a priority during our stay in Kauai!

We did the Na Pali Coast tour with Makana in mid-February and we would highly recommend. The crew was wonderful from start to finish. Professional but like one big family that loves their land. Make sure to take their advice and tips prior to the tour for potential seasickness and what to expect - they live this and breathe it; they know what they are talking about! We experienced the beauty of Na Pali and incredible wildlife spotting (whales, dolphins, spotted ray, goats, birds, etc.) all in one package deal. Just book them!!!

This is a must do!!! Captain Makana and crew were excellent. This was a very organized, well thought out trip. The views are amazing. We went in sea caves. We saw lots of dolphins up close. Saw a couple sea turtles and even whales! We snorkeled in a beautiful area and they even provided all the drinks you wanted and a lunch. Just book it. You’ll have no regrets!

First and foremost, thank you to Sean, Ky, and Charlie! They were an awesome crew to have on the charter and I’m glad this is the one we chose. We were lucky to see whales, dolphins, turtles and more. Glad we got to snorkel and jump off the roof of the boat! Top notch crew and experience, would definitely come back and book with them.
