I’m honestly shocked at how backward the service is in Australia, especially considering tourism is one of its main sources of income. I booked a Friday evening tour, but when I got to the site, I was told it was canceled due to low numbers — and I only found out there. I asked to move it to Saturday and got a confirmation email. But the email didn’t mention the time, so I assumed it would follow the schedule listed on Klook — 6 PM. On the way there, I double-checked the email just in case, and turns out they sent another one around noon on the same day saying the tour actually starts at 4:30 PM. So I missed it. I asked for a refund, but apparently I missed the deadline, so no refund. Is this seriously how Australia makes money from tourism? If you're planning to go, make sure to book on weekends, check your emails constantly, or call their office to confirm everything. Also, read the refund policy carefully and request a refund early enough. Honestly, it’s BLOODY poor system which I haven't experienced any place on earth. ***Still no contact from them despite their kind comment under huh

Had a day in Brisbane and absolutely loved this visit. Booked the personal experience with the Koalas and got to meet a handsome Koala called Hamilton. Was a wonderful way to see some of the Australian wildlife I hadn’t been able to see and meet with the rangers to find out more about them.

This is anything but a sanctuary. It's like a zoo only worse because you can touch some of the animals. Cages are far too small, so some animals show behavioral problems. No member of staff looks after the animals at the Kangaroo Petting Zoo. Everyone oversteps any boundaries and the animals just seem to accept their fate. Screaming children, overfeeding, stroking animals that are actually wild. The koalas seem to be decoration. The trees are not tall and eucalyptus branches are placed there. There is no space to climb up or let off steam. Everyone has to ask themselves if they want to pay $59 to support animal cruelty just to show an unnatural photo of their vacation and show their kids an unrealistic and sick way of how the animals live.
