Really enjoyed my visit today! I requested a souvenir photo with a koala during the “Koala Moments” session around 11 am. The keeper guided us patiently, explaining each koala’s background and handling protocol for the new no-cuddle policy—it felt respectful and informative. The sanctuary runs smoothly, with clean paths and well signposted zones. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful place!!!!! All the most known Australian fauna mates present here. I loved the Koala Moment and Koalas with their babies in the bag.

Un incontournable !!!

A faire impérativement. Moment agréable, joli parc accessible en bus depuis Brisbane. Activité agréable pour les enfants mais aussi pour les grands qui prennent autant de plaisir a nourrir et caresser les kangourous.

This was a wonderful place to visit. Yes there are koalas and lots of them but there are also marsupials galore here; lots of kangaroos roaming around, as well as enclosures for wombats, Tasmanian Devils, tree kangaroos (absent), platypus, and an assortment of birds, reptiles and amphibians, etc. Even sheep! The koalas were wonderful, mostly asleep but also because there were so many there were several that were very active. There are 3-4 koala enclosures/areas and the most active were in the area furtherst away from the entrance (can’t remember name - but area where the Tasmanian Devil and Wombats were found.

Great layout and facilities. The staff are all excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly. Perfect for almost all ages. If you’re going to feed the kangaroos, you’ll have to get there early though… by about 9.30am they aren’t hungry enough anymore to put up with being around people.
