Visited whilst on holiday from the UK and We loved it here. The kids enjoyed feeding the Kangaroos in the open field (Roo food $2 a bag) Very informative staff especially the crocodile talk which was fascinating. Highly recommend the visit

We took the Miramar Ferry to and from the Sanctuary and really enjoyed the extra leisure time, the narration along the way and the food available. With over 100 koalas to see how can it not be amazing! We were able to walk about among kangaroos and an emu and fed a few kangaroos.

A real treat
We did the river cruise and visited the koala sanctuary. It was wonderful to see the koalas close up and awake. It was also a treat to pet the koalas and the kangaroos. There were also other animals to see: Tasmanian devil, platypus, dingos, bats and lots of colorful birds and lizards. The cruise up had a pre-recorded talk about what we were seeing as we went up the river. The crew were very friendly. Highly recommend this if you’re in Brisbane.

Soooo many koalas and kangaroos! They have other animals too. The staff were also friendly and gave some knowledge too. I paid extra for the petting session. Please be gentle with them when you touch them! The sanctuary was clean and food center served the best fish and chips! We did not use their ferry service back to the city but uber was so easy to get around.

My partner and I came to Lone Pine for the first time today and decided before entering we'd get an annual membership. I definitely think it's worthwhile as we had a fantastic time and I can see myself coming back several times throughout the year. The best part was definitely the Raptor session, with birds of prey flying quite literally overhead. We also fed the roos, watched a Dingo session, and explored most of the park. I think the animal encounters are a reasonable price and likely worth it, although I didn't try them. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely small scale preserve. A little bit of an old school zoo with a comfy feel. Access to feeding kangaroos. You can pay to get close to Koalas, but not hold them.
