Great access to calm kangaroos that you can pat. Koalas are shy and hanging on trees, but you can see them from a close distance. Our family liked other performances as well. The wild birds show, the Lorikeet feeding, and there were much more to see. Worth the price.

(Translated by Google) There are really a lot of koalas, so the chances of seeing them move are quite high. (Original) 真的很多樹熊,所以看到他們動的機會比較大

What happened to this place ? I used to take my young kids here all the time about 15 years ago, and it was a fair enough value for money for a 90 minute walk through a slightly daggy, low-key animal sanctuary. Went back recently with guests - it's still as daggy and boring as ever, but now being run as a grubby, money maximising zoo with small pens and ever more exploited animals. If you are really that desperate to see wildlife up close, just go for a wander around some of Brisbane's nature reserves and you might get lucky. Otherwise, if you've got young kids you'd be better just buying a drink from the cafe outside the entrance and going for a walk around the neighboring Fig Tree Pocket down to the parks, horse paddocks and river walks.
