After going to the Australia Zoo, this place was pitiful. The enclosures were small with hardly any water supplies. The koalas had small trees, concrete floors with a little pan of water in a corner. The barn area had absolutely nothing in the enclosures and the animals just all looked lifeless. The birds were just in slightly oversized cages. Not habitats! A couple of the lambs looked sick. I was so disappointed. It just looked a bunch of caged animals. Compared to Australia Zoo which was actual conservation and the animals were top priority this one was so sad I had to leave.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a must-visit considering it's status as the world's first, oldest, and largest koala sanctuary in the world. It was truly a special experience seeing and interacting with the koalas and kangaroos up close especially in the huge free-roam area where the kangaroos were. The park is very well-maintained, with a number of other sections with a variety of other insects and animals. Definitely worth a visit if ever in Brisbane!

Great attraction!

Nice to come out here to see the various animals including the koalas. Great day out and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The admission fee was fine and we were there for a few hours. The animals all well looked after!

A wonderful experience!!! Being able to pet koalas and kangaroos and see them up close was truly unique. Definitely something to do again!
