Had such a fun time today at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Just a short Uber ride from the CBD. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Amazing to see all the animals.

Beautiful place
A must visit! So many koalas to see and the staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. Super affordable for a great day out. Best for all ages. There is also kangaroos you can walk around with and loads of other animals.

Complete rip off and staff who couldn’t care less
What an absolute rip off! I made a mistake when I booked, I thought I had booked an entry ticket, but had booked a close up experience with koalas. Whilst this was changed, I had to pay a full day entry charge, at 3pm. They should not be charging full day passes at that time of day. With the centre shutting things down at 4pm, there is no way they can justify an entrance fee if $63. I will tell all my friends not to visit this place.

We had a fantastic full-day experience at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! While the entry price is a bit on the higher side, it is definitely worth it for the quality of the experience. Pro tip: If you are an RACQ member, you can save a few dollars on your tickets, which is a nice bonus. We arrived right at 9:00 AM and didn't end up leaving until 4:00 PM because there was so much to do. The day was packed with interesting animal presentations and there are so many different species to see. The absolute highlight of our visit was the kangaroo area. The kangaroos were incredibly relaxed, and being able to feed and pet them was a memory we’ll keep for a long time. Highly recommend setting aside a whole day to make the most of it!
