I had fond childhood memories of visiting and my most recent visit lived up to these. Lots of koalas as well as other cuties

Enjoyable few hours
My husband and I went to this Sanctuary. It was well kept and great to see the koalas. Very welcoming professional staff. Does not take long to walk around the place. We finished in 2 and a half hours. Thought the shows were quite short though compared to other animal places. But well worth seeing.

(Translated by Google) Although kangaroos can be seen in various regions, being near them and the other animals of this incredible fauna is almost a must-do in Brisbane.

Koalas were on form, so cute and well looked after😍 We arrived for feeding time, was so nice to see them enjoying their eucalyptis leaves. Lots of other wildlife to see as well...reptiles, tasmanian devils, raptors. Great place and bus goes directly there from the city.

(Translated by Google) While traveling, I saw wild koalas scattered in tall trees, but here, they were placed in small trees, which was a bit inconvenient. The same goes for kangaroos and wallabies, but here, wallabies and kangaroos were together. It's just a zoo.

Cool place!
We were really impressed with the Sanctuary. Well laid out, there was plenty to see. From birds, to crocodiles, birds of flight, dingos etc, there was so much to do. Feeding and interacting with kangaroos was awesome. There are a ton of koalas and it was worth it (to us) to spend the extra $35 for a few minutes of up close interaction with one. Easy and inexpensive to get to from the CBD (bus 430/445). Get there when it opens (9am) as it got busy noon onwards. Overall, a great experience.

(Translated by Google) You have to endure the extreme heat, but you can see cute koalas. You can also touch animals like kangaroos and ostriches. The facilities are excellent, and it is a place where you can enjoy yourself freely while being mindful of the environment. A must-visit place on your trip to Brisbane.
