I visited Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and honestly had a really bad experience. I left feeling really disappointed. The animals were kept in small enclosures, which was hard to see. The koalas didn’t have natural ground — they were on concrete underneath — and they only had small trees in their spaces. If you really care about animals, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this place. For me, it didn’t feel like a sanctuary at all, just animals being kept on display.

What an experience! So many wonderful animals and others species. The workers are so nice and delightful. Definitely a must when you are in Brisbane.

We enjoyed seeing all the koalas, but were a little disappointed in the bush walk, as throughout the entire walk we saw zero animals . Also, it would be nice to advertise that there were luggage lockers available, as we were coming off a cruise ship and heading to the airport.

Great place but an extra $35 to stroke a koala. I didn't pay and could stroke one briefly at Australian Zoo for free.

Lots of room to walk around and look at all the wild life. Kangaroo feeding was a highlight. Didn't see any wombats/Tasmanian Devils/echidnas but was a really good enclosure/area for them, just needs some good underground viewing areas to spot them.

(Translated by Google) Compared to other animal facilities, the staff were very polite and the overall hospitality was high. If you're looking to observe koalas, this is a strong option. The grounds are very large, and although we weren't able to find all the animals, children were very satisfied, and I think this is a particularly good facility for families. We visited by rental car, but the directions were easy to follow and we didn't get lost. There was also ample parking, so access was hassle-free.
