It’s sad. I showed up at 4. No last minute discount. And then the girl at the entrance failed to mention the kangaroo area closes at 4:30 nor does it mention it anywhere on the website or the schedules at the entrance or even when buying the ticket. Horrible for spending 54 dollars.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary. Founded in 1927, it provides refuge for sick and injured koalas and houses over 100 koalas along with 75 other native species. Visitors can interact with kangaroos, enjoy bird shows, and take pictures and pet koalas. It is truly a great experience!

It's taken me 50 years to finally visit Australia and meet my favourite animal, the koala. I purchased a koala experience in order to get up close and personal. It is best to book this as early as possible as it sells out pretty quickly. No, you can not cuddle them as it stresses them out, which is a good call. Staff on hand answered questions and assisted with photo taking, which came out awesome. Lovely little place with much to see and do, including kangeroos (yes, you can pet and feed them) platypus, devils, and amphibians. Thank you to all the staff for making my dream come true. 🙏 🐨

Absolutely amazing place!! I had a fantastic time with my family on the last day of me and my dad's holiday. The animals were so well looked after (the donkeys need a bigger space though) the kangaroos were so soft and sweet. The food was brilliant. The sanctuary itself is so beautifully laid out, with plenty of shaded areas and spaces to relax, which was a lifesaver given the hot Australian weather. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating an environment that’s not only ideal for the animals but also comfortable and inviting for visitors. From the moment we arrived, I felt immersed in nature, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of birds and other wildlife. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours exploring without feeling rushed. We managed to see two shows which were the sheep dog show and the raptor show which like everything else was spectacular. I also did the meet with a koala experience which was an absolute highlight for me and jester was so soft and absorbed adorable!! Id advise anyone to come see this place! It's a great day out for all. It’s not just a great day out for families but for people of all ages. Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast or just looking for a unique experience, this place has something for everyone. I left feeling so inspired and grateful for the opportunity to connect with Australia’s incredible wildlife in such a meaningful way.
