Too expensive, I expected more attractions for what I paid

Our family visited the Legoland Discovery Center in Columbus, Ohio, on a Sunday morning and spent about four hours there. Our initial entry was a bit disorganized and slow, as it wasn't clear where to go and only one staff member was checking people in. As first-time visitors, better signage or instructions would have been helpful. The factory tour, while not what we anticipated, was enjoyable for younger children. The Kingdom Quest ride was a short but fun experience. Our 5-year-old particularly loved Merlin's Apprentice, where you pedal to control the height of your seat. I appreciated the Miniland area, which showcased Ohio landmarks. My son was a little disappointed that the Lego City playground, while visually themed, didn't have any actual Lego features within the play area itself. We opted not to do the VR experience due to the additional cost, as the overall price was already a bit high. The center offers various Lego building zones (cars, Friends, Duplo, etc.), but we didn't find anything particularly innovative or unique in these areas. Overall, we had a fun day at Legoland Discovery Center. It's an experience we're glad we had, but given the hour-long drive and the cost, we probably won't be frequent visitors.

No real guidance to experience everything is why I am rating 2stars. Did not get digital photos even though I paid for them. Was given another photo scan card to walk back through and get the photos but the photo kiosks were not working properly. The only highlight was the workshop which Sebastian was wonderful and very informative at the end of our visit. Stepped into the factory entrance only seen the end of the video. First ride with the castle was broke down so had to wait to do it. Every guest including myself was confused with stamps etc. No guidance of where to use activities pack. The guidance issue and not getting the entire experience or digital photos is what really bothered me. Really sad to leave without those photos I paid for. The food was overpriced and toddler portions. No real exclusive things to purchase in the workshop other than the coins which the machine automatically charged me for 4 at 15.00 rather than 1. I expected a better experience. The character visit and photo opp was nice and the movies. Staff was nice at the cafe but the options very limited. Still had some nice moments with my child, but I’m not sure I would return to this location. Special Thank You to Sebastian very informative, professional and courteous. We enjoyed being part of his workshop.

Two stars because the kids had fun, however this place is disgustingly dirty. $25 per person not bad but they should at least hire someone to walk around and clean throughout the day or at closing. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time with dust and dirty floors and counters
