What a brilliant day! From booking online, to the pick up and drop off, it was a fantastic experience. Our host/driver Seamus was fantastic, very knowledgeable and sensitive to understanding when to give information and when to let us enjoy the experience in quiet. Coach was very comfortable, Seamus’ driving skill on those little road was outstanding! Highly recommend Lally Tours.

Excellent tour to Connemara! We made multiple stops in surrounding towns to and from Kylemore Abby. Our guide, Dion, gave an informative narrative of Irish culture, history and geography along the way!

A pleasant drive through the countryside with very interesting commentary. Dion was informative and we could understand his accent!! He kept us informed about what was happening and was happy to answer questions. We chose to walk in the Connemara National Park and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Today I enjoyed a tour with Lally tours to Connemara National Park. The driver-guide, Dion, was excellent and provided us a lot of very interesting information about vegetation, geography, history, etc. Together with a day without rain I enjoyed the tour very much.

We did the Cliff of Moher and The Burren Tour with the awesome driver and tour guide John B. It was a comfortable and safe ride. We really appreciate that he shared his profound knowledge of the region with a love to detail and a private touch. You could really feel how much he cares for the local communities and environment and how important it is to keep it the Western Irish Coastline as beautiful as is it. The schedule was tight but perfectly organised with a thoughtful planning! Really appreciated the tour! Thanks to John

Fantastic day out to see the Cliffs of Moher with Lally Tours and tour guide Dion. The Cliffs were in and out of fog, mist, and rain while we were there, and our photos are outstanding with all that atmosphere! The weather also cleared completely for 15 minutes, so we got some of those beautiful photos, too! Sometimes full day bus rides can be tiring, but this one had one fantastic stop after another, and we returned to Galway completely happy and energized. In addition to the Cliffs, the Burren landscape is incredible to see, with huge waves crashing on the rocks. And, who doesn't want a countryside/seaside pub lunch while in Ireland?! We loved our Guinness Beef Stew and Seafood Chowder at O'Donohue's. Next stop, touring the Aillwee Cave is optional, and we opted in, and really enjoyed the 30-minute cave tour. The opt-out option seemed good, too, with time to explore the farm store, food stand, an excellent gift shop, and relax at outdoor picnic tables. Our last stop, at Dunguaire Castle, was perfect for getting a castle-out-over-the-water photo. Each stop felt like it had exactly the right amount of time to see things. Tour guide Dion is excellent, telling stories about the West Coast of Ireland, Irish history in general, the sights we were heading to see, setting expectations for the day, and keeping up with all of us, all with that great Irish humor. 5 Stars+!!! Highly Recommend!!

This tour was amazing! Our driver Gerry was full of knowledge and shared so much Irish history with us. On our stops we chatted with him, he was funny and kind. I would definitely do another Lally Tour in the future!

Seamus was fantastic, both with his driving AND his work l witty and informative commentary throughout the trip. He kept time for short breaks throughout the long journey, and was incredibly helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable trip! Well done, Seamus! 👍🏼

Seamus had great insight into the Irish history and language of the region of Connemara. We loved the stops in the countryside and Kylemore Abbey. Would definitely recommend!

Great trip to the Kylemore Abbey with Seamus! He was an entertaining and informative guide. Could have used 30 more minutes as the Abbey was so large and we were trying to eat lunch there as well. Very well organized tour and nice bus.

Booked a day tour that included the Cliffs of Moher and other stops months or so ago for our stay in Galway last week. When we arrived in Galway, touched base with the company through Viator and got a response with a time to meet the driver and location. We arrived at the spot only to be told the bus had left already. They said they tried to call us but neither my husband or I had missed calls. I showed her the message from their company representative proving he gave us the wrong time. The tour had only left 8 minutes prior so we asked if they could wait for us and we could meet it and we were told no but we could taxi at our own expense to the first stop. Since it was their error, I didnt feel that was a sufficient response. The manager walked down to meet us to tell us they could put us on the express bus that just goes to the cliffs at noon. There were only two seats left and advised us to get there early to line up because the bus would be full. He said this was complimentary but he could only authorize a 50% refund of our original tour and we had to request a full refund through Viator. Since the whole purpose of going to Galway was to do this tour we had no choice, but it wasn't the experience I had wanted or why we had booked this as a stop to begin with. Instead of a small tour group, we were on a large bus of around 50 people that was packed full. The driver was nice but he shared no info as we drove or gave us any kind of details about the stop. It took us 2 hours to get there and we were there for about 3 then just turned around and came home. I did appreciate at least getting to go out to the Cliffs but overall this was a disappointing experience with this tour company. If you use them, make sure whatever time they tell you, you actually arrive at least 30 minutes early because they may not give you accurate information.

Amazing tour. Jerry was a great host/driver. Told interesting bits of history along with current day info about Galway and Ireland in general; details about quality of life, current problems the population are dealing with, but never seemed to be too biased about anything which I appreciate. Very interesting tour and not to mention getting to see the stunning cliffs of Moher along with some cool spots along the way. Would recommend 10/10.
