One of a Kind Soundbath and Explore Within Dance Experience
I absolutely love this space. I’ve been several times for sound baths and Explore Within dance experience, and I make it a point to go every time I’m on the Big Island. The space is so beautiful, so majestic. The facilitators like Brooke and Brie are phenomenal, warm and inviting- you truly can’t get another experience like it. Don’t hesitate- it’s so worth it!

A Unique and Educational Experience
Being that I am an Environmental Biologist, I knew that I would love to explore this habitat - It’s the only place in the US where you can see an actual Cloud Forest! But this was also my blue-collar-electrician husband’s favorite part of our trip! We enjoyed the unique and peaceful location for starters, but our guide Anna, brought the forest to life with her stories about the sanctuary’s history, goals and the family connections. We did the 2 1/2 hour jungle tour. The time flew by! It’s not a long walk, but there are hazardous tree roots (part of what’s cool about it!) and rocks to navigate. It’s not a particularly strenuous walk, but it is by no means a flat, even trail. We didn’t experience rain during our visit, but it is advisable to have a rain jacket handy since it does rain often! If you don’t have one, they will provide you with one - and with eco-friendly bug spray. Our adventure was not particularly “buggy” either, but I could see that it could be. We highly recommend a trek through the Cloud Forest Sanctuary.

A magical and meditative hike!
Loved the whole experience. Our guide Brie was lovely, so knowledgeable and mindful. Her enthusiasm and calm was inspiring as she guided on our journey through this immersive world of smells, textures and visual beauty. Truly a magical and meditative hike!! Absolutely recommend!!!

Heavenly experience in the cloud forest
The cloud Forest Sanctuary hike was wonderful. Our guide did an excellent job of connecting us with the forest, explaining the history of the sanctuary, and educating us on forest plants. We followed up the hike with a sound bath. It was a heavenly experience with the sounds of nature around us. The hike is easy with little elevation gain, but there are some slippery tree roots to navigate. I live on the Big Island and will definitely recommend this hike to visiting friends.

Kona actually has a jungle!
I canʻt believe Kona has a jungle! Incredible. It felt so magical. I was born and raised in Honolulu, and Iʻve been living in Hilo for many years. It is shocking that this place was reforested, that all these years, I thought Kona was only for hot dry beach visits. I now have another amazing reason to visit Kona, not to mention...Bri hosting silent disco in the forest is lifechanging!! I dance a lot, and I talk to trees, but to be guided in this way with headphones and dancing with the forest was utterly ecstatic for me. THANK YOU Kona Cloud, Diane, Brooke, and family for doing what you do!

An incredibly botanical experience like no where else in Hawaii.
The Kona Cloud forest is an incredible opportunity to experience a unique climate with a fascinating array of species, so close to civilization. I loved learning the history and the botanical stories behind the vast array of species. It was also absolutely gorgeous and such a fun accessible walk. We did it with my partner's father who is in his 70s and little kids were on our tour as well. Everyone had a great time. The staff was incredibly knowledgable. This is the big island like you won't see anywhere else. Highly recommend!

You must go, beautiful spot to slow down and enjoy.
Amazing place, Daniel was a tremendous and enthusiastic guide, a definite must see on the big island. Slow paced hike with time for information, questions, and lots of photos. A great way to get some information about native species and invasive ones while seeing a beautiful forest.
