The Houston Zoo was such a wonderful experience. The zoo is large, beautifully laid out, and home to so many amazing animals. All of the enclosures looked well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, and every animal we saw looked happy, active, and well cared for. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When my son needed a quick stop at the infirmary for a bandage, a staff member even gave him a little toy to cheer him up. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really made our day. The ticket prices might be on the higher side, but they are definitely worth it. If you’re local, I’d recommend getting a membership because there is so much to see. Since we were only visiting, we purchased day tickets and still felt it was absolutely worth it. My son had an amazing time and even got to see some animals for the first time, which made the visit extra special. Overall, I highly recommend the Houston Zoo to families, animal lovers, or anyone looking for a fun and memorable day.

This is the time of year to go to the zoo. The park is always maintained and clean. Services are 10/10 and it’s THE spot for family and kids! Had a great time!

Good to be back after a long time. Took my son that was his first time for Holiday lights. Will be going back with my wife and son for a family outing during the day of course. Excellent place sith clean restrooms that also bring back good memories from when my parents took us when I (siblings) was a kid!
