We had a wonderful time whale watching with Clipper Vacations. The boarding process was smooth and there was plenty of seating. I liked that you had the option to go on deck or stay inside with floor to ceiling windows. We saw several pods of orcas and some seals. It was really cool and a bucket list item for me. The staff were friendly and they did their best to get us close to wildlife. I would definitely recommend this experience and will definitely do it again someday, even though it is a little pricey.

Easy to find the location, boarding process was easy, boat and facilities were clean, crew was friendly. Cindy provided great insights and information about the wildlife. We were able to spot a number of whales and overall, thoroughly enjoyed the excursion.

Good experience with FRS Clipper till the last 2 nights at the Edgewater Hotel. Our room there was Motel 6ish at best. Very small, ac/heating that left you either cold or too hot. Not even close to the quality of room we booked through FRS our last time in 2023

Great trip!

Excellent day, 2:30 PM trip. Saw orcas, ate lunch, purchased some snacks and souvenirs. Trip was successful for whales. Made some great memories with my friend and I am looking forward to being warmer and on shore. Highly recommend this group for Whale watching.

This review is about Whale Watching- or lack of it really. The boat is nice and the staff are friendly and you get a boat tour around the sound for a couple of hours. That’s the good bit. Perhaps on some days you get to see some whales we only saw a few orcas from around 300- 400 meters away. The commentary did their best talk it up but the reality is it’s a lame duck. If you have never been on a whale tour before then by all means go. You won’t have any expectations and you’ll probably clap at the end - like the rest -out of shear ignorance as to what a good whale watching experience is.

Only problem was checking in for boarding. They could not scan the bar code on our tickets. Took over 30 minutes of them going back and forth. Could see we purchased the tickets but couldn’t get the pass to board. Once on the boat everyone and everything was wonderful.

Good trip till the end

Booked our BC ferry from Vancouver and our stay in Victoria BC, along with our trip back to Seattle. All was fantastic until we got to our room at the Edgewater hotel in Seattle for our last 2 nights. Our Edgewater room was small to the max, had heat/cooling that left you either too hot or too cold. The room was definitely Motel 6ish at best and not even close to the quality of the room we had the last time we booked through Clipper. If booking make sure you ask about type of room you will get in Seattle at the Edgewater

Highly recommended

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great and very reasonably priced. They seemed very knowledgeable and invested in making sure everyone got to see the marine wildlife. They were concerned about the conservation of the wildlife and its habitat. The insidewas very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean

We enjoyed the activity, we had a very knowledgeable wildlife guide and enjoyed whale watching with Emma learning a lot about all the different whales and sealife, definetly would recommend
