Fred (Federico) gave a phenomenal tour of this incredible collection. Well worth the trip. Amazing explanations of the different schools of art, periods of history, artists and pieces. Bravo Fred you made the visit

The very big downside is that I wish we were told prior to the booking time of 3pm that we had to choose between the sistine chapel and st. Micheal. It was very upsetting that by the time we got to the sistine chapel the tour guy stated that if u want to see st. Micheals you have 15 minutes to get there so you can see the sistine chapel quickly. The tour was supposed to include all three and we only did two. Adsitiinalky, she rold people ro come back tomorrow to fo to st. Micheal. I spent all tjis money, why would i travel on a 10hr flight to italy and take another day to see it. Additionally we werw flyinf out the next morning. I really wanted to light a candle for my mother and grandmorher. The tour guide spent too much time talking about some statues that weren't of significance to people.

Amazing Tour and Fantastic Guide

We booked the semi-private Vatican tour with Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica and we placed with Eddy as our guide. He was phenomenal! He was SO knowledgable and energetic. He kept us laughing and was always ready to answer questions. We had a great time on this tour and would totally do it again!

Excellent tour- well worth it!

Our tour guide Martina was super knowledgeable and friendly. Even though there was a bit of a problem with our tickets initially (fault of the Vatican Museums) she handled it well and used the extra waiting time to go in depth about the Sistine Chapel. We appreciated that the tour was small (only 10) and that we had headphones and could hear the guide clearly throughout the tour. The Vatican Museum is gigantic so this tour does not cover all 54 of the galleries- if you want to explore more after the tour you have the option of staying but you won’t be able to skip the line for the basilica. All in all I would highly recommend this tour.

Our Ponza highlight

So fun! Lots of swimming / snorkel stops at pretty coves with clear water. The impressive coastline’s geology and history was explained by the captain with translation into English for us by Mara, who was wonderful and enthusiastic. Pasta dish impressive for prep on a boat! Would highly recommend!

A day at the Vatican museum

This was like taking years of Roman history in a great way. Laura was the perfect guide. So knowledgeable and prepared us for a great day in St. Peter's square

We had a great time! Skip the line was definitely the way to go as there were so many people there. Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

The tour was great and...

The tour was great and actually the only way I could get into the Galleria Borghese. The regular tickets are sold out very fast due to the limited number of visitors the garrery can accomodate. Our guide was very knowledgeable and able get us through the tour in 2 hours, so we could see all the masterpieces. The time slot was limited, so we had to be quite fast but we covered everything. The cafe inside of the museum is quite good, so you could even stay there for a meal, not just a cup of coffee.

Definitely worth a visit.

We enjoyed our visit to the Vatican Museums, Sistene Chapel, and the Basilica with our guide, Oscar. Oscar had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable, pointing out many highlights and details throughout the galleries and grounds. The tour was not rushed, but there is a lot to see as you are walking around and it was very busy when we visited. Whether you are religious or not, a trip to the Vatican on a visit to Rome should be on everyone's bucket list for the history, art, and architecture.

October Vatican Sistine and Basilica tour

We had an amazing tour with Monica. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the beauty, art and history on our tour of the Vatican and Sistine chapel. We had a wonderful time and left there with a desire to learn more.
