Federica M. - thank you once more for this great tour and your great passion about art and the history of this collection. We have rarely experienced such an exciting museum tour !

Revised my rating
I wrote a previous review and gave them 1 star. I realize now that the cancelation was not their fault but the fault of the museum. Said they shut down because they were having a meeting as to if they were going on strike. Broke for lunch at 11 and left hundreds of people with nothing. Apparently, the museum has no respect for people that travelled very far to see it. I will not be returning anytime soon.

Great Tour Well organised !
Had a great tour guide the lovely Nicoletta , very knowledgeable and answered all our questions from us and the rest of our small group. Everything was well organised from start to finish. She of course knew her way around. , showed us all the best spots to take our photographs.

Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel skip the line
Bought skip the line tickets with no tour guide. Was great for to see what I wanted inside and got to skip the colossal(and I really mean it Colossal) line outside.

Highly recommend this particular tour
Very fortunate to be guided by the engaging and enthusiastic Iorena who took the time to educate us all on the principles of the tour. You could find a cheaper guided tour but by doing so the numbers in your tour would greatly increase and that is likely to impact on your ability to absorb the many artefacts. Highly recommend this tour and we are grateful to Iorena for her professional but friendly approach. Excellent tour.

Great storyteller
Borghese tour was excellent. Eddy was terrific. He kept it moving with humor. Loved his take on the baroque era.

Vatican trip
The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable but everything is too packed and you don’t have enough time to stop and look at the art.

This was one of the best tours of our trip. Ricardo was a great guide, the enthusiasm he had talking about the art was inspiring and captivating. Incredible gallery and incredible guide.

Marcelo made an overcrowded Vatican great!
You could not have done this adventure without a guide due in large part to extensive crowds for Jubilee. But Marcelo was extra informative being native from Rome, spoke great English and seemed to know all the guards and staff throughout the museum.

San Clemente Underground & Basilica Tour
A fascinating basilica! 3 levels of construction and use from 3 different periods of time. Our tour guide Luca was fabulous! He demonstrated great knowledge and a keen sense of humor. We wouldn’t have gotten as much from our visit without his guidance. Thank you, Luca!

Well planned. Good audio. Tiring. Wear comfortable shoes. If you take a large bag you can leave it with the office.

Leave early - it’s busy. Lots of traffic and people in Jubilee year. Language barrier ( our problem)

Great experience
Met guide at designated time. Got in shorter line to enter, line moved quickly. Once inside, guide gave an overview of what we would see and gave us extra insight of little things to look for in some of the paintings. Our guide, Laura, was very knowledgeable and really enjoyed talking about the paintings and what the artist might have been thinking about when adding people or things to the work.

Exceeded my expectations
I was initially reluctant to buy a tour as I like to go at my own pace. However all the tickets were sold out so had a tour with EcoArt Travel. Frederica our guide was simply marvellous and I am so pleased to have taken this option. Her knowledge and enthusiasm brought everything to life and ensured that we left with a much greater understanding of the art and the history surrounding it. I can't praise Frederica highly enough! The gallery has a vast collection and the visiting period is restricted hence it helped to have a guide to make sure that we saw the key pieces in the gallery. I was left wishing I could stay and explore further but this was not possible due to gallery restrictions. If visiting Rome is September all sites are extremely busy and it is important to have this in mind.

Fred (Federico) gave a phenomenal tour of this incredible collection. Well worth the trip. Amazing explanations of the different schools of art, periods of history, artists and pieces. Bravo Fred you made the visit

Audio didn’t work
The directions were confusing for where to start your own individual guided tour. When we found the location and downloaded the app. It said it was no longer working or didn’t accept anymore People. So we had to do the tour with no audio that we had already paid for - very disappointing.😞

Tour with Martina - Vatican Museums
Martina was an absolutely fantastic guide! She struck the perfect balance between being professional and casual, making the entire experience feel fun and engaging. Even though the Vatican Museums were extremely busy, she navigated us through the crowds with ease, always pointing out the best spots to stand for the perfect perspective on the historical pieces. Her humor, energy, and clear explanations brought the artworks and history to life. She genuinely made the tour many times better than it would have been on our own. Highly recommend Martina to anyone visiting the Vatican!
