Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. There seemed to be an extraordinarily large crowd and we were moved through to avoid most waits. The main asset was that our group was only eight people and each was given a headset to us so our guide could be heard. We saw some groups with 20+ people and no headset.

Wonderful experience

The smaller group was definitely a good experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend a private/group tour to see the Vatican.

Wonderful Vatican Museum Tour with a Small Group

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel today thanks to the wonderful tour guide, Alessia. She had the perfect combination of historical knowledge and personality that made the tour extremely memorable. We were able to skip the long lines and the audio headset made it easy to hear Alessia’s voice throughout the tour.

Best Colosseum tour ever!

Eddy was the absolute, best tour guide EVER! Funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable! He seemed to be so full of knowledge that made the experience so much fun. He gave us enough time for questions, time to take photos, and really explain everything to us but didn’t make us feel rushed.

Sara was our guide for the tour of the Vatican Museums. She was knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories and facts during the tour. Had a pleasant and insightful tour!

Not a good value for the money

You walk through the museums at a very rapid pace. No time to appreciate the art. You do not come back to any spot. Never saw the cafe and gift shop again. For $150 per person it was not a good value. That did not include the Basilica. The guide was good but I don’t think she understood the significance of King Charles as the head of the Church of England, meeting the head (Pope) of the Catholic church. Ties were cut during Henry the VIII when he divorced his wife, Catherine for giving him only daughters.

Do this tour at the Vatican.

This was our third visit to the Vatican and was the best so far. Our guide did an excellent job of preparing for each section and before going into the Sistine Chapel. He gave us a handout with pictures and descriptions before entering the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's. Did not feel rushed in the Sistine Chapel.

Poor

Booked and paid for the basilica. Got told it wasn’t included on the 2:30 tour when we arrived. Guide blamed the booking agency. Also was a 10 person maximum group. Group was larger than that. We did 6 tours in Rome, this was by far the most expensive tour and the least enjoyable

Amazing tour, Amazing guide

Amazing experience because of our brilliant guide Maria Laura. We are a family of 4 from Ireland, with two teenage boys. What could easily be a daunting tour due to the amount to be covered was made enjoyable & accessible by Maria. I would highly recommend going pre 9am to avoid crowds.

Merci pour cette visite efficace ! De l'importance d'être guidé à Borghèse....

J'ai apprécié l'enthousiasme et la passion de notre guide Stefano qui réalise ce défi de faire traverser en 2h chronométrées la galerie en nous permettant de voir les principales oeuvres et de voir ce qu'il faut observer dans les oeuvres. Une utile introduction à l'art avec des ponts vers les autres musées et oeuvres connues. Particulièrement pour cette galerie où on a peu de temps, je pense qu'être guidé est nécessaire pour aller a l'essentiel et bien en profiter. On en voudrait encore. Peu de temps pour les questions et écouter les commentaires qrcode des autres oeuvres malheureusement. Mais l'avantage de la visite guidées c'est qu'au moins on repart avec des questions et des mondes qui s'ouvrent à notre curiosité ! Merci!

Touring the Vatican with Martina

Martina from EcoArt was our guide and she was super engaging throughout our tour of the Vatican. She’s definitely an expert at navigating the narrow corridors and shared with us the best spots to enjoy the different pieces of art and artifacts and the stories behind them. It’s a shame that the tour didn’t include a guided tour of St Peter’s basilica as well. Definitely recommend this to everyone planning a visit to the Vatican!
