A fabulous way to explore Paris Gastronomy
Our tour guide was engaging and shared many aspects of Parisian history and ushed our group to some famous spots where we enjoyed fabulous samples of pastry, savory treats, chocolates. wines, and cookies.

Worth it!
We would follow Carlos anywhere… especially if there’s food and wine involved. This tour was basically the perfect combo of eating, drinking, and learning just enough to feel cultured without it feeling like a lecture. Carlos knows his stuff, but more importantly, he knows how to keep it fun. Every stop felt like a hidden gem, and somehow each bite and sip just kept getting better. We showed up hungry and left very happy (and maybe a little full… okay, very full). Also pretty sure Carlos has magical powers because we never had to wait for anything.

Excellent food tour of Lisbon. Carlos brought us to places we would never have found on our own, and his explanations and passion for the history of the food came through at every stop. Very generous portions of delicious and varied food and wine.

Great Food Tour
Fred Fed Us Until We Burst If you want to experience Lisbon by eating your body weight in incredible food, book this tour. Fred was a legend—funny, knowledgeable, and a professional enabler of our food comas. The Four-Stop Feast: Stop 1: Chicken skewers in a coconut-ginger-orange sauce that I’m still dreaming about. Stop 2: Elite canned sardines soaked in Aguardente and literally set on fire at the table—a total spectacle (expertly paired with red wine). Stop 3: The heavy hitters—a comforting bowl of Caldo Verde followed by a legendary Bifana pork roll and crisp apple cider. Stop 4: The grand finale—the iconic Pastel de Nata. Pure, flaky magic. I arrived as a tourist; I left as a human pork roll drifting happily down the cobblestones. Wear stretchy pants and trust Fred. 10/10!

A Fun Way to Try New Food!
I love food tours and have done several with Eating Europe and this one in Prague did not disappoint! Yesterday, my husband and I joined Zach for a tour and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Zach’s knowledge of history was impressive, and he kept our small group engaged the entire time. We asked plenty of questions and he answered every one with enthusiasm and detail. The food selections were delicious and felt truly authentic to the region. I highly recommend this tour with Zach—it’s a fantastic way to experience Prague through its food and history! This is the first of 4 Eating Europe tours I have booked over the next 2 weeks.

Sunset food tour with wine
Amazing food tour on the other side of Florence with Sara D. It was so nice to escape the herds of tourists in centro stòrico and experience the real neighborhoods where locals eat and buy comestibles. Highly recommend this experience!

Book through booking.com after reading some great reviews. “What a fantastic experience! Fred was a great guide—friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and made the whole tour really enjoyable. After a bit of cross-country navigating around Lisbon, we finally made it to the right meeting point as started at the wrong fountain, which added to the adventure! The food was incredible—definitely don’t eat beforehand as there’s plenty of it. We discovered some real hidden gem restaurants, all offering amazing Portuguese food and great value for money. Highly recommend!”
