Eva was absolutely...
Eva was absolutely amazing! We did the tour as our send off after visiting family and I definitely recommend it. We had a blast. Neither my partner nor I are big wine drinkers, but the wines we tasted were delicious - paired with Eva’s extensive knowledge, we indulged and learned so much. One of the stops, Divin Boccone, had cases available to ship to the states, which let us take a bit of the tour home without all the hassle. Eva had a great relationship with all of the shop owners that we visited, so it was very nice and felt comfortable the whole time.

Highly recommended for the foodie
Worth every penny and more! Superinteresting stories about the food, the wine, the culture and history of Florence. Engaging and knowledgeable guides in Alex and Anton. And everything was tasteful and we wouldnt have encountered it without this tour. Takes approximately 3 h. You walk to the different venues. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

Food Tour Florence

We loved this tour. Caterina was our guide, and she was wonderful. She had great stories, and was kind and entertaining. We tasted great food, tried amazing wine, and learned a ton. We highly recommend!

Excellent Tour and Guide
The tour was excellent. Well thought out. Our tour guide, Amanda, was knowledgeable, engaged and thoughtful. She spoke extensively of the food and culture. We went through old neighborhoods and tasted wine and traditional dishes at historical landmarks. Highly recommend the tour and high praise for Amanda.

A must do and worth every penny! Ask for Carlos!
Carlos was energetic, genuine and very personable! The tour was peppered with history and anecdotes about the area. The food and wine were delicious, and definitely elevated by Carlos’ warm and fun personality.

Had the best time
The most fun I’ve ever had on a tour. Carlos was knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, and just a wonderful guide. The foods that we were introduced to were amazing, varied, and meaningful to the culture.

Wonderful food and historical gems!
Camila was the best guide. She took us to 5 great food spots that showed off some of Portugal's different food options. Camila was a wealth of knowledge of the Lisbon, Portugal both current and historical. Our teens had a great time learning about Portugal and tasting the wonderful foods.

Our tour guide Emery was delightful. Apart from her good efforts to make the tour successful, it was not. The staff at our first stop, Cafe Royal, was rude. It took almost an hour to get a cold small ladle of soup, stale bread and water. Because we were so delayed at the first stop, we were somewhat rushed at other stops. The second stop was better and the haggis starter was nice. We had to buy our own glass of wine as we were offered Iron-bru and water. YUCK. The third stop, Maggie Dickson, was ok 1/2 portion of fish and chips and 1/2 pint of Tennents. The cheese stop was delicious and generous but awkward as we stood in the street tasting and no water was even offered. Finally, the last stop was inedible cookies which seemed to be left-overs. Overall, it was expensive for what it was and poor except for Emery's good efforts. Not able to endorse this tour.

Very expensive compared to walking tours
I enjoyed my tour but would not recommend it for those on a budget. You are paying an extra $100 Euros for the food experience compared to the walking tours that cover the same history of Lisbon. It was still lovely, but just something to consider because you are not eating $100 Euros worth of food.

10/10 stars would recommend! Fred gave us an incredible tour with his witty humor, sincere conversational attitude, and good taste in Portuguese cuisine. We had a blast!

Great Food Tour In Paris
Awesome tour, with a great mix of history and delicious food. Nice pacing with a couple of sitdown spots. Betsy is a great guide! We would do another tour with Eating Europe.
