Great food, wine and Guide!
Ivana was an exceptional guide! She gave us great background on the food and locations we visited, introducing up the owners, and providing detailed explanations on the food presented at each place.

Wonderful time, wonderful food
Had an excellent time with my Dad & brother (and the rest of the group) experiencing the variety of food that was brought to post-war Berlin. Clara was very informative, clear and friendly. The food was either ready upon arrival or a very short wait so no time wasted at all. Although a walking tour, I'd still recommend even for those that do have difficulty walking for extended periods as there are multiple areas to rest which suited my dad well. Also, restroom availability was great.

Felt Like An Outing With Old Friends
This was our first food tour with Eating Europe, and it will not be our last! We had a great time with our guide, Gerard, whose warm & easygoing nature immediately set the right tone, and we knew the tour was going to be a good time. Gerard was very knowledgeable, adding local color and lovely personal detail to set the scene before each stop. Throughout the journey he connected with each party, making the tour feel like an outing with friends rather than strangers. We couldn’t have had a better guide!

This tour was fantastic! Nadia is an excellent guide, is very friendly and does a great job balancing historical details of the city with what everyone is there for… the amazing food and drinks! All of our stops were off the beaten path in small, family-owned places. The shop owners were all friendly and engaging. Everything we were served was delicious. 3.5 hours very well spent!

Just Burn Your Money
“This tour has made me question ever again using Viator (which we have used extensively over the last 15 years). This trip, which involved Eating Europe, was nothing as it was billed and was a complete waste of time and money. The description, Delve into often-overlooked Dutch cuisine with a small-group walking tour of Jordaan’s top food spots and hidden gems. Stroll off the beaten track in Amsterdam and immerse yourself in the city’s gastronomical culture with visits to several eateries, sampling specialties including Gouda, jenever, Dutch "salami," and more. Benefit from the small-group size and enjoy a more relaxed, sit-down experience for each of your tastings. Our group of 9 individuals was taken to places that were mostly fast food/deli locations (one of which, without even providing napkins, served Southeast Asia fare which our guide noted is "quite popular" in Netherland.). So much for gastronomy. In another location, we were taken to tables that still contained used dishes and glasses, and then told suddenly by the proprietor to leave, with no explanation. The guide, who we believe selected these particular locations, was awful. She spent most of the time recounting her family history -- we heard 4 times that she is descended from Roma. She also noted how difficult it was to make a living there (despite having previously, she said, been a successful professional photographer. She also made statements about Dutch history that were easily found to be false in a reference guide I had with me. Despite telling us repeatedly how tolerant she and her fellow Dutch live, she verbally attacked one trio of people from Spain for some perceived pre-Eighteenth Century slight on that country's part; and berated one member of that group who asked to add Nutella to a food sample in one locale, saying that would cost her extra money. Twice she moved the pace so fast that she lost members of the group who we managed to locate. She also showed extreme impatience with one gentleman who was unable to keep the rapid pace she set. At that point I spoke with the group of the three Spaniards who also were incensed and agreed the 'tour' was a waste. At that stage I feigned leg problems simply to be able to exit the tour. That is 2+ hours of my life I can never get back (5 counting my wife). Later we ran into another couple from the tour, and we all agreed (as, they told us, did the older couple whose husband was shown such discourtesy because of his mobility issues) that the trip was a total waste of time and money. That means 8 out of nine of us were disgusted. I expected to receive some response (and in fairness a full refund of our ~$260) after reaching out to Eating Europe but nothing. I plan on posting this in other tour locations and certainly with Eating Europe, warning readers to avoid their products like the plague. Go to Amsterdam but avoid tours like this.

This was an excellent tour, guided by Paul! Very diverse with not only food but also culture and some history as well. Amazing.

Eating Europe in Edinburgh
Aisla took us on a wonderful food tour in Edinburgh. The whole route was perfect and well thought out. The food had the best variety. We ate some bigger portions mixed with smaller portions and all on point with traditional Scottish food. I would highly recommend Aisla and or her group!

Amsterdam food tour
This was a great way to experience not only the food but the history of Amsterdam. Our tour guide Paul was so informative and patient with all our questions, as well as my dietary restrictions. This was my first food tour and won’t be the last!

Best tour guide ever x 3
Such a great and fun tour with an amazing group of people! The tour guide Fred was very knowledgeable and engaging with all of the information he shared. I’ve been on tours where the info can feel like an overload but Fred knows how to share history, facts and stories by keeping them interesting and hilarious. He is soooo funny, I found out at the end of the tour that he’s also a comedian. Makes sense since he had very many punch lines that cracked us up. Do this tour and get Fred, he’s a wonderful person to do this tour with! So much food and drinks, you feel full at the end of it. Its def worth the price. Obrigada

Delicious food walking tour
Zach was an incredible tour guide, full of love for the city and information. Easy to talk to, passionate about his job and helping - even gave us a massive list of recommendations for other activities and places to visit! The food and drinks were delicious and authentic, the staff were also very friendly too!

Great local food and wine in Florence
Ellie was fantastic. She was very energetic and engaging with the small group of 8. She took us to six local establishments and the a gelato shop. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Eating Europe tour in Florence, Italy.
It started with Tina serving us prosecco at the Piazza Santo Spirito and the day just got better and better. Tina was joyful and fun loving engaging everyone in our party. We went to many shops sampling traditional amazing Italian foods and wines. Each shop visited was met with joy and warmth as Tina introduced us to shopkeepers she has known for years. It really felt special; Each meal was better than the previous meal; with our final meal being a slow cooked boar stew with an amazing super Tuscan wine and an uncompromising Italian cocktail. Eating Europe once again did a fantastic job !! I highly recommend this tour with Tina without reservation!! We had a previous experience with Eating Europe in Lisbon; also great. This company clearly knows what they are doing!!

Ivana was an excellent host! She showed us parts of Florence off the beaten path and provided a wide assortment of food, snacks, drinks that are typical of the region. Very enjoyable. Maybe slightly overpriced.

Fabulous tour with Teena with eating Europe!
Fabulous time with Tina through the Santo Spirito are. Enjoyed great cheese, wine, Negroni and gelato. Would highly recommend to anyone; a great way to spend an evening in Florence!

Fun solo activity
Eli made the tour super fun, she's such a great guide! Was not tiring in terms of walking, tons of wine and drinks, my favorite foods we had were the cheese tasting and the gnudi!! I was a solo traveler and it was great to get to chat with other groups
