In a word, underwhelming. The tour was labelled Trastevere Food Tour with Wine Tasting, but after only an hour of the planned 4 hour tour, we exited the Trastevere district and walked back over the Tiber to an adjacent district. Portions were meagre for the price paid. At one stop, only a single bottle of lambrusca to share amongst 10 participants. Half a small plastic cup of beer at stops 2 and 3 (no wine on offer) and the supposed dinner stop had one pasta dish and only one eggplant plate that the guide had to slice into 10 toddler sized portions whilst he ate a full plate of an alternative meal. The 4 hour tour ended at 3.5 hours eating Gelato at a shop (still outside Trastevere) next to a rubbish dump so not a great finish. Our scheduled tour time was also cancelled & rescheduled twice at the last minute due to lack of numbers. We selected this tour as it was labelled as a Top Pick and likely to sell out but I would not recommend it unless the price is significantly reduced.

The tour was alot of fun and i would do it again. The food was good and it was a great experience. Our tour guy, Leo, was absolutely amazing and she really made the tour. My highest compliments to her. Leo was very social and really engaged with the group and brought her wonderful personality to the tour. Thank you for the great experience.

We joined a tour with Izaac and it was absolutely amazing! He’s funny, connects easily with people, and explains everything clearly and eloquently. For us, it was a truly special experience. The food was delicious and unique, and we discovered surprising new places. We had such a great time – highly recommended!

Amazing Tour
We had an amazing experience with Aldo on our walking food tour of Naples. He is unbelievably knowledgeable, and the history he shared with us was fascinating. The recipes and food stops he introduced us to were fantastic—each one a highlight on its own. We can’t thank him enough for making the tour such a memorable part of our trip.
